This large gite (135 sqm) is designed for up to six people. There is a spacious lounge with dining area, sitting area, TV (Dutch, German and some English channels) and a wood stove. From the living room overlooking the pool. A large open kitchen, fully equipped with all kinds of devices. A spacious bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Two bedrooms, the first bedroom with double bed (1.80x2.00 meters) and box-spring bed (0.80x2.00 meters). The second bedroom has two beds (0.90x2.00 meters) and the sixth bed is a fold-away bed. On request can be arranged for a cot and highchair. In front of the cottage is a terrace with garden furniture and parasol. The pool is filled with salt water and works with an electrolysis system.

We are a Dutch family who emigrated to France in 2003. We are mainly for the beautiful and peaceful surroundings here live in the Correze. Over the years we have worked hard to renovate our house and two holiday houses and build.

Additional information

Space, peace, nature and of course the casual French life. A great base for walks and excursions. There are beautiful hiking trails in Orgnac, Le Saillant Voutezac and Vigeois. Canoeing can Vézère, there are bus stops in Le Saillant and Uzerche. Lac du Causse is a beautifully situated recreation lake and the opportunity is there to walk around it. Many attractions such as beautiful castles, picturesque villages and beautiful old towns. Collonges la Rouge, Turenne, Uzerche and Donzenac medieval plates in the vicinity. Arnac-Pompadour is known for its beautiful castle and horse racing, the summer there are regular competitions at the Hippodrome, you can gamble. The various castles are definitely worth a visit for the castle lover. And then there are the waterfalls of Gimel les Cascades. A nice walk / downhill where you walk past three waterfalls. Brive la Gaillarde is the big city in the area with every Saturday morning a very large market but also to just good shopping. Nice and cozy, the market in Le Saillant and only 10 minutes from the cottage from. You can buy fresh local produce which you can prepare on the spot the existing barbecues while enjoying a bottle of wine and live music. A lovely evening to enjoy with the locals.
