Gite Rochechouart
You have access to your own private terrace (table and a few chairs provided) which leads to the open plan kitchen/living room on the first floor. This open south facing terrace overlooks the playground and garden and has a beautiful view of the beautiful sunsets There is a 2nd table and chairs with parasol so you can sit in the garden as you wish. The layout inside reflects the Chabanais gite in the other half of the old converted barn, living room ,kitchen ,bathroom and 2 bedrooms on the ground floor with a separate toilet.
The Rochechouart does not have a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The bedrooms are located on the ground floor with a separate toilet, so they stay cool during the hot summers. Since the end of 2024, the Gite has new box spring beds and/or mattresses.

The beds are made on arrival and for each guest there is a set of towels ready, this is included in the price, you must provide your own swimming towels.
The Gites are equipped with extra garden furniture on the lawn there is a trampoline, football table, table tennis and many other toys, should you not feel like going out for a day. There are also many quiet places in the garden to read a book or enjoy the surroundings.
Our characterful Gites are situated in a quiet charming but not secluded location. Popular with hikers and cyclists, lakes with sandy beach 15 min. and kayaking 5 min. nearby.
Cot, high chair and stair gate can be used free of charge on request.
You can also use our lovely heated above-ground swimming pool of 9.4 x 4 meters and 1.5 deep.
Of course there are also many lakes (with beaches) and even a Bar/restaurant at some of them.
WORKSHOPS / COURSES
In the early and late season we can offer a ceramics course, we do not give this ourselves, if you want more info. You can contact us about this by e-mail.
We have a total of 3 Gites which are available to rent separately Gite Confolens, Gite Rochechouart , Gite Chabanais also you can rent all 3 Gites ideal for Fam. reunions or groups such as cyclists or walkers ( maximum 14 people) We do not rent to groups of young people !!
You can also rent the Gite for a longer period, of course outside the high season
