Villa des Thermes

Villa des Thermes is a well appointed villa in the heart of Saint Jean d'Angély, just a short walk (250m)from the Mairie and centre of this pretty market town. We are offering our holiday home for short and longer term rentals throughout the year; whether you want a short break, a long weekend or a 2 week holiday in the sun where you can walk to shops, restaurants and bars, Villa des Thermes is the perfect option. 

Villa des Thermes holiday accommodation sleeps from 2 to 4 people. It is located just 250m from the center of Saint Jean d'Angély. Our one bedroomed Villa is very spacious for a couple but the generous sitting room also has a double sofa bed, so can accommodate a further two adults or  children. Plus there are two bathrooms.

Villa des Thermes is rated 4* by the French tourist board. As well as all the essential items required for a comfortable self catering holiday our villa goes above and beyond. 
With luxuries such as two walk in showers and a bath, a 55'' smart tv in the sitting room and a 32" smart tv in the bedroom, wifi throughout, Amazon Alexa and a gorgeous private walled garden, you won't want to leave!

Self-cater in the villas fully equipped kitchen with the fresh  produce you have picked up from the market or eat out every day in a different restaurant, the choice is yours.
There is also a delightful private walled garden so you can just relax, read or plan your next day's adventures.
Open throughout the year, as well as for short breaks and longer summer holidays of a week or two, it is also available for longer stays of up to 90 nights during the low season.

The villa's name comes from the hot springs deep underground known since Roman times. Valvital are presently developing a thermal centre.

Saint Jean d'Angély is a quaint market town located in the heart of the Charente Maritime region of western France. We are just an hour's drive from La Rochelle and Royan on the coast, 30 mins from Cognac with its distillery tours and Saintes with its Roman ampitheatre. 
The town of Saint Jean d'Angély is also well connected, with access to the A10 motorway, a train station and La Rochelle, Bordeaux and Poitiers airports too.

The town boasts a twice weekly market, several large supermarkets, a cinema, theatre and numerous bars and restaurants. For families with children there is a park with playground, lake and river with canoeing in summer and a large indoor swimming centre. 
Saint Jean d'Angély is known for its historic sites. The Abbaye Royale, the bell towers, the clock tower and the Musée des Cordeliers are just a few of the must see sites.
