This characteristic villa with Pool House and Spa is located on the outside of an old castle in the heart of the Aude, near Canal du Midi. It is idyllically situated in a park-like garden with centuries-old trees and surrounded by vineyards overlooking the Pyrenees. The castle is originally a Templar farm, the oldest parts of which date back to Roman times. Knights once lived here, but today the castle houses holiday homes.
Through a private gate you get access to a large private garden (3,000+ m2) with an ancient oak tree. In the garden there are several terraces and a jacuzzi with complete privacy.
The Maison du Parc (120 m2) has a large veranda with lounge sofas and a dining table. There is also a laundry with toilet and washing machine and dryer. Inside there is an equipped kitchen and a living room with flat screen TV and Sonos. On the first floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed and a spacious walk-in bathroom. In addition, there is a second bedroom with double bed and a concise walk-in bathroom with shower. There is also a second toilet.
The Pool House (50 m2) is entered through a walk-in room that opens onto a living room with kitchen, a dining table and a double sofa bed. There is also a flat screen TV and Sonos equipment. A bedroom with a double bed and sink, a bathroom with shower and a toilet and a second bedroom with bunk beds for up to 3 people completes this Pool House.
Next to the Pool House is the Spa (70 m2) with underfloor heating. This has a spacious outdoor sun terrace with loungers. Inside the Spa there is also a lounge sofa and a heated swimming pool (6m by 3m) with counter-current installation. So here you can "swim laps" against the current as much as you like. You will also find a sauna with cold rain shower, a regular shower and a toilet / changing room.
