This characteristic Pool House and Spa is located on the outside of an old castle in the heart of the Aude, near the Canal du Midi. It is idyllically situated in a park-like garden with centuries-old trees and surrounded by vineyards overlooking the Pyrenees. The castle is originally a Templar farm, the oldest parts of which date back to Roman times. Knights once lived here, but today the castle houses holiday homes.
Through a private gate you get access to a large garden (3,000+ m2) with a centuries-old oak tree. In the garden there are several terraces and a jacuzzi (can be booked).
The Pool House (50 m2) is entered through a walk-in room that opens onto a living room with kitchen, a dining table and a double sofa bed. There is also a flat screen TV and Sonos equipment. A bedroom with a double bed and sink, a bathroom with shower and a toilet and a second bedroom with bunk beds for up to 3 people completes this Pool House.
Next to the Pool House is a separately bookable Spa (70 m2) with an outdoor jacuzzi. The Spa has a spacious outdoor private sun terrace with loungers. Inside the Spa there is also a lounge sofa and a heated swimming pool (6m by 3m) with counter-current installation. So here you can "swim laps" against the current as much as you like. You will also find a sauna with cold rain shower, a regular shower and a toilet / changing room. Outside the summer period, the pool has a temperature of 25 degrees
In addition to the freely accessible private sun terrace of the Spa, there is also a private outdoor terrace with lounge set at the Pool House.
