Do you want to relax or be active? It's all possible in and from Villa Mimosa! It is wonderful to relax on the covered terrace or in the sunny swimming pool and there is a lot to do in the area.
Villa Mimosa is a beautiful spacious villa, on the outskirts of the medieval village of Joyeuse, in the Ardèche. The villa owes its name to the Mimosa trees at the edge of the surrounding garden, which bloom beautifully in early spring. The villa is part of a small-scale domain, which is built against the terraced southern slope of a hill, where there used to be a vineyard.
From the villa and in the garden you have a beautiful view over Joyeuse and the surrounding hills. Villa Mimosa has specific southern French elements, such as painted shutters, covered terraces and a roofing of Romanesque tiles. The villa is cosily furnished and fully equipped. You can park under the carport, or directly in front of the house by driving down the short driveway.
Upon entering you enter a spacious hall with toilet, storage cupboard with washing machine and the stairs to the upper floor. From the hall you enter the dining room, which is adjacent to a fully equipped open kitchen. On this level there are also two bedrooms, which open onto a covered terrace, and a bathroom with shower, bathtub and toilet. Via the stairs down you enter the attractive living room which has direct access to a spacious terrace, the garden and the swimming pool. On the terrace you can enjoy the sun, or relax in the shade of the pergola.
In between, you can cool off in the sunny swimming pool.
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms, opening onto a spacious covered terrace, and a second bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Both downstairs and upstairs is a bedroom with a double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. So there are eight sleeping places.
While it is warm outside, the temperature inside stays nice and cool.
If the weather is bad, there is plenty of space inside to enjoy
enjoy all the comforts that the house offers.
