A unique holiday home for 12 people with a swimming pool, where each room has its own bathroom. The furnishings and decoration are a modern mix of the past and present. The entire house has all the beautiful details of an old French house, but is contemporary and comfortably furnished. Outside there is room to relax with a petanque court, table football and trampoline.
On the ground floor there is a double room with bathroom. The other rooms are located on the first floor. One is a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed. All other rooms are doubles. Each room has its own bathroom with sink, walk-in shower and toilet and is decorated differently while retaining the authentic details.
The open kitchen with the long dining table is ideal for a shared meal or culinary delight. A cozy space where people can meet and raise a glass. There is a large stove with oven under the authentic mantelpiece. Of course there is also a dishwasher.
The salon has a TV and various games. The open kitchen and lounge have a wood-burning stove.
The table tennis table is outside under the canopy. The swimming pool and the petanque court are located in the orchard. A wonderful house to spend a holiday together.
The location of this house offers many opportunities for activities (walking, cycling, swimming, golf) or visiting villages and towns. The town of Herisson (hedgehog in French) is an example of this. Moulins is a bit more fashionable with terraces and various modern shops. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the house. Such as Chez Chaumat in Cérilly and the restaurant in Château d'Ygrande. For refined cuisine you can go to d'Orangeville in Ainay le Chateau.
Europe's most famous oak forest, the Tronçais Foret, is 9 km away. A large forest where you can walk for hours without meeting anyone, take long bike rides or fish in one of the lakes. But also take a trip with a cart pulled by dogs. September is the time to look for mushrooms in the forest or listen to the bellowing of deer. There are varied courses in the surrounding region for golf players. A real group home with many possibilities.
