We, Karin and Jan, are a Dutch couple and are selling our idyllic country house near Madrid. To get to know us a bit, we share our story in a nutshell.

Our adventurer blood brought us to Spain at the end of 2016, where we started a new chapter because of Jan's work. 

After a long search and several weekend trips to Madrid, we finally found our dream home: a finca in Chinchón, located in a quiet, beautiful place that immediately enchanted us. As soon as we walked through the garden and saw the view, we knew for sure. It exceeded all our expectations and immediately formed the basis of my, Karin, B&B dream.

After two and a half years of renovations, jobs and planning, our little paradise was ready. In May 2019, we opened the doors of our B&B, where we were able to receive guests for seven seasons. We are so proud of the many reviews, awards received and, above all, the friendships we have built with neighbors and our guests. Our B&B was more than a business: it was a place to connect people and share a piece of our daily happiness. 

Every day we enjoy the choice we made to move to Spain. The wonderful weather, the beautiful surroundings, the peace and quiet in the garden, our work and the charm of our authentic village of Chinchón make our life here special. It is therefore with pain in our hearts to leave this place. Unfortunately, it is becoming increasingly difficult to run the B&B because of my hernia, despite the fact that we have taken it a bit easier in recent years. It's time for yet another new chapter, the shape of which we don't know exactly yet, but one thing is certain: we will continue to enjoy our life in Spain.
