We are a Belgian couple who have been in Spain for 15 years. We have a great time, walking, cycling, swimming, dinners with friends, the Spanish markets or fiestas etc... During the holidays, our children and grandchildren or friends come to visit who can all enjoy our house, the various terraces with the private pool, the walks in the mountains or along mountain rivers, etc. Together we also make trips to the sea (30 min), or the surrounding cities of Elche or Alicante, respectively a 20 and 30 min drive. The urbanization where our house is located is located in the well-known beautiful Hondon Valley. There are no common costs. Dutch, Belgians, English and some Spaniards live here. The mutual relationships are great. In the urbanization there is a restaurant-hotel where activities are often organized and where people can meet each other, this also happens in the village or during meetings of the Belgian-Dutch association. Supermarkets and restaurants can be found 5 km away in the cozy village of Hondon or even a little shorter in Frailes (3 km). The house with garden requires little maintenance, is well equipped and is also perfectly rentable. Big pluses are the beautiful location, adjacent to a large nature reserve, not far from the airport or the sea.
