The village of Luz de Tavira is located in the east of the Portuguese Algarve. 20 minutes from Faro airport, 36 kilometres from the border with Spain and 3 kilometres from the sea. In addition to your own car or rental car, the accessibility is good by public transport from Faro. From the airport by bus to the train station in Faro and then by train to Luz de Tavira, from where it is a 10 minute walk to the house. Or by bus from Faro directly to Luz de Tavira. For the real hiker is walking from the house to the sea is 40 minutes. You can get there in 4 minutes by car. Many facilities are available in the village, but experience has shown when you want to see the area and visit the larger supermarkets, transport by car is the most pleasant. In the city of Tavira you will find the well-known supermarkets and larger shops.
Casa Velha is detached, in a quiet street and in the middle of the houses of the Portuguese, so one is part of daily life, safe with positive social control and away from any wildfires in the mountains. The house consists of 2 fully independently functioning living areas, making it possible to be together with a 2nd family, relatives, friends with all the privacy that entails.
Each living area 1 and 2 has a nice living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Living area 1 is larger and is completely one storey, living area 2 is a bit smaller and has a staircase leading to the bedroom and a large roof terrace. A lovely place to sunbathe or watch the sun set behind the hills in the evening.
The separate living areas can be reached via the patio/garden. There is no connection between the living areas in the house.
