Once you have reached the property, any stress of everyday life will fall away from you at the latest, because you will find yourself in the middle of an idyllic cultural landscape: The larch wood-clad Finnhütte is located on the edge of the forest in a landscape conservation area, which blends in with nature. The fantastic view extends over the adjacent orchard and the Thuringian Basin to the Inselsberg.
The house
The house has about 40 square meters of living space and is divided into two floors. It has an open fireplace. The Finnhütte is furnished with old farmhouse furniture, fully equipped with insect screens and has electricity and water connections (high-quality tested drinking water from a nearby strata water source).
The Finnhütte is equipped with two sleeping places, but can also accommodate more people. For other guests, a large steep-wall tent for 2-4 people is permanently set up within a carport.
The property
The property covers 535 sqm, is designed to be close to nature and organically divided into quiet and economic areas. It has a paved parking area for 2 cars. The sunny sunbathing lawn is overgrown with sky keys in spring and is also characterized by an abundance of flowers later on. Quail wheat and wild strawberries are looking for their places everywhere. On the property there is a toilet house with a bio-toilet and a spacious tool shed. A forged double swing with a distant view and a seating area made of solid spruce wood are harmoniously integrated into the property.
The surroundings
The adjacent, cattle-grazed meadow orchard (cherries, plums, pears, apples) can be harvested for one's own needs at the appropriate times after consultation with the tenant.
The fauna of the forest and the surrounding fields (deer, badgers, foxes, hares, bats, tawny owls, etc.) is intact and gives the patient observer many beautiful impressions.
Hikes are possible in all directions. The most famous hiking trail that passes below the property is the medieval historic Pflaumenallee, which connects the Sachenburgen with the Arnsburg.
