Just 3 hours away by car from Arnhem, the picturesque village of Nordenau is located in Hoch Sauerland. Here is this fine holiday apartment in an oasis of peace. Surrounded by forests and mountains, with a wide view of a valley, this is a place to relax. It is wonderful to relax on the sheltered sunny balcony on the southeast. The well-maintained holiday apartment of 74 m2 is located on the 1st floor of a detached complex of 10 apartments. This complex was built in 1970. After a thorough rebuilding and complete renovation in 1998, this original holiday guesthouse was divided into independent apartments. Since last year we have an energy-efficient central heating boiler with corresponding radiators. Because the complex is not located in a holiday park, it does not experience the restrictions/rules and extra expenses of this. This also gave us the opportunity to offer our apartment as an exchange object through an international home exchange organization. Free of charge we enjoyed (besides Nordenau of course) many other places in Europe. The apartment consists of a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with toilet and can sleep six people. Suitable for rental. All in all a great base for rest, walking, cycling, golfing, skiing and various other (winter) sports. And that so close to the Netherlands!

With its half-timbered houses, Nordenau is one of the most authentic villages in the Sauerland, also known as the "pearl of the Sauerland". The village is known for its pure air and therefore has the special and sought-after status of "Staatlich anerkannter Luftkurort".
