On Friday, August 15, 2025, the purchase contract was signed at the notary. We are going to celebrate Christmas there again and then we will hand over our Eifelhuis to the new owners in January 2026.
Thanks to all who liked the house so much for responding to this ad. There is even more beauty in the region, so one day you too will have an Eifelhuis.
For almost 14 years we celebrated holidays in the Eifel and let others enjoy our house and the surroundings.
Our Farmhouse was built around 1760 and has those wonderfully thick walls, which give atmosphere and keep heat and cold out. Over the centuries, a lot has been added. We took care of the most recent renovation ourselves, in which the living room was considerably enlarged and various insulation measures were applied.
There are three large bedrooms and one small. The kitchen is spacious and separate from the living room. The bathroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs are an extra toilet and sink. The total area of the house is 138 m2. In addition, there are various stable spaces that provide opportunities for expansion. Parking is available on site and in the double garage.
The house is located between Prüm and Bitburg and is easily accessible via the A60. There is a large garden. From the living room and from the garden you have a magnificent view over the Nimsdal. A view that never gets boring, no matter what the weather conditions.
The house is detached and quietly located.
For schools and groceries, Waxweiler and Schönecken are 10 minutes away by car. And a bus stops near the house.
From Utrecht it is about a three-hour drive to Feuerscheid. We rent all year round and have no complaints about interest. It is a nice mix of enjoying yourself and enjoying the holiday stories of our guests.
In almost the entire house, the walls are covered with clay and clay paint. Wall heating has been installed in the living room. The economical boiler dates from 2018 and burns gas from a tank in the garden. The sale is going through real estate agent Esther Suylen from a nearby village. She is Dutch and has been living and working in the Eifel for 19 years. You can reach her for further information via her website: https://www.suylen-immobilien.de
