I bought the house in Venterol in 2007 and renovated it a lot. It belonged to an elderly Frenchman and was therefore really decorated in the French way. The house became more beautiful and cozy every year and we went there at least 6 times a year for a few weeks. We have seen and got to know a lot of the area. The olive trees around the house were also picked every year and the olives were taken to the press. With the oil, extra virgin, we also made many friends and acquaintances happy. The lavender in the garden was also cut every season and brought to the distillery. After 3 years I bought a jacuzzi and dug it into the garden. You can enjoy a jacuzzi all year round. A few years later there was also an above-ground swimming pool in the garden next to the jacuzzi, also had a lot of fun. But I am now 77 and the distance of 1000 km to the Netherlands is becoming an objection. That's why I want to sell the house, no matter how sad I think that is!
