Our family home is located in a village in the northern part of Cyprus. In Turkish the village is called Yeşilırmak, in Greek Limnitis. The village is known for its varied fruit cultivation such as strawberries, mangoes, dragon fruit and avocados.
The house and its fruit orchard are located in a green area close to the sea and surrounding hills. You can enjoy a beautiful view from the balcony. In summary, the house is ideal for the visitor who needs sun and sea but not a busy tourist environment. Due to its location, the house offers the necessary cooling during the hot summers.
The house is fully furnished and contains everything one needs for a pleasant stay, such as washing machine, air conditioning and kitchen utensils. Various types of fruit grow in the fruit orchard, such as oranges, tangerines and figs. Depending on the season you can pick delicious fresh fruit from the trees!
There are several restaurants nearby that specialize in fish and grill. The nearest (small) supermarket is a 15-minute walk away. It is also possible to rent a car in various places, such as Guzelyurt, to visit places further away. A taxi can be arranged for transport to the house (costs not included). It is easiest to rent a car in advance at the arrival airport.
Cyprus has three airports, two of which are located in the south: Larnaca Airport and Paphos International Airport. The airport in the north is located in Nicosia and is called Ercan Airport. It is an average hour and a half drive from these airports to the village. Ercan is the closest, Paphos is the furthest away. Cyprus is relatively small and everything is within reach by car.
Born and raised in Cyprus, living in the Netherlands. Married to a Dutch man. Dentist as a profession, Hostess as a hobby. I like to help my parents rent out our holiday home that my grandfather built himself in 1972. My parents have both retired and they take care of our large garden at the holiday home. I got my hospitality from my parents.

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will not use the rented property (anymore), he will be charged the full rental price. owed.
In addition to sun, sea and good food, Cyprus has a rich history with several historic places to visit. Nearby you can visit the ruins of Soli, Vouni and Petra Limnidi, cities of ancient civilizations in Cyprus. More information about historic sites can be found at https://www.visitncy.com.
Furthermore, when visiting Cyprus, it is good to be aware of the applicable regulations. As a former territory of the United Kingdom, Cyprus drives on the left-hand side of the road. And on the border between the north and south of Cyprus there are several border crossings. When renting a car in the south, make sure that the car is also suitable for use in the north. This varies per rental company.
