About the apartment
Our apartment is located on the first floor of The Garden complex and has its own entrance. You enter the large living room with high ceiling and fans. The living room is equipped with sliding doors to the balcony over the entire length, so you can turn it into one large space.
The spacious balcony has two sun loungers and a seating area. Here you can enjoy a lot of privacy, a beautiful view and the cooling trade wind.
The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee makers, a toaster, blender, juicer, kettle, oven and of course a large fridge with freezer. In the kitchen you will find a storage room with a washing machine, cleaning products, drying rack, ironing board and iron. A cot and high chair are standard.
From the living room you reach the two bedrooms, each with a bedroom ensuite and plenty of closet space and air conditioning. One bedroom has its own balcony. The other bedroom has a desk to work at.
About the Blue Bay resort
Royal Garden is located at Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort, a large resort that feels more like a village than a holiday resort! It is spacious and consists of several sections and complexes. Around the corner from the apartment you will find the swimming pool, which is shared with the other apartments of The Garden.
In about ten minutes you can walk to the sandy beach (free beach passes) and various catering establishments - from casual beach bar to fancy dining at Brass Boer. The apartment is also located next to the beautiful golf course with cozy clubhouse.
About the area
A few minutes from the resort you will find a large supermarket, with many Dutch, American and Antillean products. In the immediate vicinity you will also find a mall, good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Both the capital Willemstad and the airport are only a fifteen-minute drive from the resort.
North of the resort you will find the most beautiful beaches and bays, such as Playa Daaibooi, Playa Porto Marie and Grote Knip. You can also swim with turtles at Playa Grandi/Playa Piskado.
Important to mention
Security
A security deposit of US$ 300 or XCG 600 (local currency) is required upon arrival, payable in cash to the manager. This deposit will be refunded at check-out minus the electricity and water costs, based on actual usage and applicable rates. Estimation of costs based on June 2025 rates for electricity: US$ 0.40 per KwH and water US$ 10.06 for m3.
