To make the most of the climate, the windows throughout the house are equipped with slats that let in the pleasant trade winds for cooling. Outside, a palapa so characteristic of the Caribbean has been built, indispensable to create a shaded terrace. Of course, there is also a swimming pool. In this case, a luxurious magnesium/saltwater bath whose water is wonderfully soft and friendly to your skin.
The main house with the fantastic views is on the first floor. On the ground floor an independent studio and a complete apartment have been realized. In short, a lovely spacious villa to enjoy your well-deserved holiday with a large family. Partly because in the immediate vicinity you will find all desirable facilities, Jan Thiel Beach, popular beach clubs, restaurants, bars, shops, a spa, a modern fitness center and a beautiful nature reserve where hikers and mountain bikers can indulge themselves.
Classification
Centrally located in the spacious upstairs apartment is a well-equipped kitchen with a spacious cooking island with dining area. Adjacent is a cozy TV/lounge area.
Wide patio doors provide a seamless connection to the porch and offer a view of the pool, the palapa, and behind it the neighborhood and of course the sea from the kitchen. On the porch is a dining table with seating for 8 people and a large lounge area. Between the porch and the palapa is the luxurious saltwater/magnesium swimming pool. Underneath the palapa is a lounge area where you can sit on the wind.
The central kitchen is connected indoors to the hall that provides access to 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom and toilet, and a master bedroom with separate bathroom, toilet and walk-in closet. There is also a separate guest toilet. All this is on the 1stfloor, hence the beautiful view. In the hall there is also access to the stairwell through which you reach the ground floor indoors. There is a spacious apartment at the front, with a large kitchen/sitting room, and its own bedroom, a bathroom with toilet and storage cupboards. There is also a room with pantries and a washing machine room. At the rear is a spacious studio with kitchen and a sitting/bedroom with its own toilet and shower.

The villa has 5 spacious double bedrooms in total, 1 of which belongs to the indoor apartment and 1 is part of the studio. All bedrooms have a private bathroom with a walk-in (rain) shower with hand shower, double sinks and a toilet. All bedrooms are also equipped with inverter air conditioners and ceiling fans and there are comfortable box-spring beds throughout.
Palapa
In the atmospheric palapa there is a cozy large lounge sofa to relax in. The view is on the one hand to the sea and on the other hand to the pool and the porch. Adjacent is a sundeck with an outdoor shower.
Garden
Both at the front and at the back of the villa is a beautiful tropical garden, tastefully landscaped with palm trees, plants and planters. At the front there is also parking space for several cars. The back is ideal for seats and handy for drying laundry, for example. There is plenty of space. There is an electric slider gate in the half-height wall on the street side.
Location
The luxury district of Vista Royal is located in the southeast of Jan Thiel, between the sea and the Spanish Water. The beautiful natural surroundings with a sloping character are a great attraction for hikers and mountain bikers who enjoy a view of the salt pans of Jan Thiel and the high seas while exercising.
Within walking distance is the popular Papagayo Beach and Zanzibar, a gym, a wellness center, a casino, a diving school and you name it. Groceries can be done on foot at a supermarket with a Dutch-oriented range. There are also shops and several restaurants and bars. Vista Royal is only 10 minutes by car from Mambo Beach Boulevard and 15 to 20 minutes from the historic center of Willemstad. The airport can be reached in about 40 minutes.
