It is a spacious, fully equipped apartment with a comfortable living room with sitting / sofa bed, two spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with large shower cabin, a separate kitchen with all appliances and a private terrace with table and chairs to enjoy the wonderful climate and the Mediterranean lifestyle.
With a location right by the sea it is logical that you have all the possibilities of swimming, snorkeling and water sports directly at hand.
Seget Vranjica is located on the mainland so that you do NOT have to go to a island connected to the mainland (such as Murter or Ciovo, Okrug Gornji) via busy bridges. An excellent base to visit many places worth seeing in Central Dalmatia with many possibilities for an ACTIVE holiday with (mountain) hiking, rafting on wildwater, parasailing, canyoning, sqaudtours, zip line, etc. etc. In the immediate vicinity all opportunities to rent scooters, bicycles and boats. In addition, you can also make great day trips to the most fantastic NATIONAL PARKS at short distances where you will be amazed by the impressive nature such as waterfalls, wild water rivers, rugged mountain scenery, etc.
You will also find CULTURAL HIGHLIGHTS such as medieval towns, museums, the most beautiful cathedrals in the area. It is not for nothing that the Croatian coast is considered the BEST COASTLINE OF EUROPE .

Because the owners have the ground floor in use, you can contact us for any help and information you require. You do not have to find out everything yourself because we are happy to show you tips and advice.
Croatia is closer than you think, Vranjica is easily reached by car in 2 days, enjoying the beautiful parts of Germany (Bavaria) and Austria. The flight connections from the Netherlands and from Germany (Cologne, Dusseldorf, Dortmund, Hamburg, Berlin, Hannover, Stuttgart and Munchen) and England and Scandinavia are very frequent and very affordable and we will take you from and bring you to Split airport (about 15 minutes) so that you can start enjoying your holiday right from day one.

Explanation of prices

The stated prices are weekly prices based on a price of € 150 per night in the high season and € 130 per night in the early and late season (2022).
In the high season it was customary to rent by the week with Saturday as the changeover day. Now that KLM, TRANSAVIA AND EASY JET can fly DIRECTLY to SPLIT almost every day of the week during the high season, we have abolished the fixed changeover day and it is possible to rent per day, depending on availability, with a minimum of 3 or 7 days in before and after season and high season respectively.
These prices INCLUDE all additional costs such as booking costs, deposit, air conditioning, satellite TV, pick up and drop off from the airport, final cleaning, etc. So with us NO HIDDEN costs. Only tourist tax is added to the rental price because it is calculated per person per day. Furthermore, washing machine is available in consultation with a small fee. We also do NOT ask you to pay a DEPOSIT, but assume that you will simply tell us about any damage, so that we can repair it before the arrival of the next guests.

From our beautiful garden you can walk straight on to the beach. No wonder we speak of a house next to the sea! Enough space to enjoy the ever-present sun (which is no guarantee!) and the extremely clear water. Because we have adapted the usual rocky coast in Croatia by putting annually pebbles on the beach and into the sea it is also ideal for smaller children. No climbing and stumbling but enjoying sun, beach and sea and everything associated with it such as swimming, snorkeling, sailing, surfing, boating, fishing etc.

Ground floor is occupied by owners. Upon arrival we will show you around. Also later we are ready for you to give all required information and assistance.

On the day of arrival you can take it easy after the trip. We welcome you with a snack and a drink and make you familiar with the house and the surroundings. If you want we drive to a supermarket to buy the first groceries.

Comfortable, air-conditioned apartment with private entrance. The apartment contains 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom with large shower, a living room with dining area, satellite TV, seating/sleeping couch and a private covered terrace with fantastic seaviews. All windows and doors are fitted with screens and shutters. It is not a non-smoking house but we ask all tenants to smoke preferably not inside but outside on the beach and terrace.

Fully furnished for a pleasant stay with air conditioning, Wifi, satellite TV with all common Dutch and a lot of FTA English programs , spacious terrace with fantastic sea view, dining area, sofa / couch, spacious armchairs and ample cupboard space.

Spacious and comfortable bedroom with a small balcony and a large double bed (160x200). Bedside tables with reading lamps. Also a large chest of drawers and a large closet for all clothing and other luggage. Sufficient bedding is provided and is normally replaced every week. The washing machine is on the ground floor and can be used in consultation.

Spacious bedroom with a small balcony and two single beds with slatted frames and good mattresses that can be pushed together to create a spacious double bed of 180x200. Bedside tables with reading lamps, large wardrobe to tidy up everything. Dressboy to tidy up your T-shirt and shorts (you don't need anything else besides your swimsuit / bikini).

Spacious bathroom with all amenities including a large shower, toilet, washbasin with vanity unit, hairdryer, shaving socket, etc. Towels, bath towels are provided. Beach towels you have to bring yourself.

The kitchen is fully equipped and fully furnished with large refrigerator, freezer, electric 4-burner stove, oven, extractor, coffee maker, kettle, juicer, toaster, etc. Upon arrival you will find in the fridge a bottle of wine of our own making which we like to say welcome. If you like filter coffee we advice you to bring your own because coffee is roasted different in Croatia and therefore taste different. The same applies to groceries which are difficult to find in Croatia like sprinkles, peanut butter, licorice, oriental spices, etc.

The large terrace offers a magnificent view over the sea in the direction of Marina at the end of the bay. Of course there are plenty of chairs and a table to sit outside. What is more comfortable on your own terrace in the morning to enjoy a delicious breakfast? The terrace is largely covered so that a good relationship between sun and shade is created and inside the apartment remains cool. For the real sun worshipers there is a terrace above the garage and the whole beach is sunny unless you use one of our umbrellas.

From your own terrace you enjoy a magnificent view over the beach, the bay, the islands before the coast, the little harbour of Seget Vranjica and the fantastic hills on the mainland.

Each evening you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from your private terrace.

VUVIX apartment is situated in the picturesque fishermans village Seget Vranjica. At 200 meters you will find 2 little shops where you can do your daily shopping. There are also several restaurants where at relatively low prices you can eat and drink. At only 5 km. you will find Trogir with many supermarkets and a very attractive daymarket where daily fresh fruit, vegetables, souvenirs, etc. can be found. Also very much restaurants ranging from simple to high quality. Always very affordable.

If you want you can contact us about several ways to drive to Croatia / Dalmatia. We can inform you about fast (see Access Route) or an interesting tourist access route with overnight possibilities. Especially in Croatia are still many opportunities for extremely interesting sights. To give an example: Castle Trakosan between Kutina and Varazdin (Croatia and Slovenia border) is fantastic as are the waterfalls between the lakes of Plitvice. A very impressive canyon you will find between Jayce and Donji Vakuf in Bosnia.

Our unique place is not next door. It still is about 1700 km away. We drive this many years and we believe it is very doable in two days with an overnight stay somewhere in southern Germany or Austria. Then you arrive relaxed after a long drive along very interesting places. The entire route is now being implemented as a motorway except a very small part in Slovenia. The shortest route is via Cologne, Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Munich, Salzburg, Ljubljana to Trogir. Our experience shows that it is quieter and faster to drive from Wurzburg, Nuremberg, Passau, Graz, Maribor to Zagreb. From Zagreb take the A1 towards Split. You pass Karlovac, Gospic, Zadar, Sibenik, exit Prgomet. Then go through PLANO to a large intersection. There turn right to Seget (toward Sibenik). After about 7 km. at some kiosks on your left, turn left. Then keep right twice, pass a shop to a kind of square with cafe and shop. Take a very sharp right turn and you come to the sea and harbour, turn left and after the road narrows you come to barrier. Turn left upwards and follow road to No. 32.

From many airports you can fly directly to Split. Many airlines are flying only in the summertime but with a transfer in Zagreb you can fly all year.
On Split airport we pick you up and you are in 15 minutes at your destination. That is really convenient travel and the earlier you book the cheaper you fly. Recommended!

At the Split airport all major car rental companies are present. Among others Hertz, Avis, Budget, Sixt and Europcar.
Our experience is that our guests never use a hired car the first days of their vacation but also want to enjoy the peace and tranquility in our environment. You can consider to rent a car a few days after arrival and use that days for excursions. We can assist you to hire for a few days from a to us very familiar rental company at competitive prices. Parking is no problem, our carport is available.

Around the third week in September, we make our own wine. Our guests are cordially invited to be present and possibly lend a hand. We start the morning with picking grapes. Then the grapes are crushed and transferred into the fermentation bin. Depending on the sugar content of the grapes some other things besides yeast is added. Finally, all mixed together, and let the natural fermentation do its job. However, all the following days mix again. After 5-10 days, the wine is drained and stored in stainless steel vats. The result of last September we let you try in the summer. Cheers!

It is just 5 km. to medieval town of Trogir, whose center is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. A historical museum town par excellence, in the back alleys and streets you imagine yourself in the Middle Ages. The promenade is well worth a visit because of the large number of yachts that moor here daily. Also scattered with terraces where you can drink and a large number of restaurants from simple to high class. Especially in the evening much is going on, also for young people. The many terraces are full and the promenade is a great venue. Trogir has a summer program with live music, concerts, performances by folk groups, enz. To get an idea look at the following sites:

For walkers, there are several possibilities. There is a landscaped walkway that takes you to a height of about 450 m for an unparalleled view of the many islands off the coast. If climbing is not your thing then there is a footpath along the coast and through a great forest of pines to the village of Donji Seget at about 4 km and furtheron to Trogir at about 6 km.

At about 50 km. near Sibenik the Krka National Park is located. In about 90 minutes you walk a circle around the great waterfall and into a natural environment that will amaze everyone. A perfect day trip because you can drive back along the magnificent coast and possibly visit beautiful villages such as Vodice, Brodarica, Primosten and Venisce.

A visit to the historic city of Split of which the center is the former summer residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian is also very rewarding. History everywhere. Also very interesting architecture, churches, plazas, theaters, a beautiful boulevard, many museums, etc. Culture in abundance. From Split interesting day trips to islands such as Solta, Brac, Korcula and Hvar.

Further south, past Split in the beautiful coastal town of Omis the river Cetina flows into the sea. The last 20 km. before reaching the sea the Cetina squeezes through the mountains that form the natural barrier between the Mediterranean coast and inland. This is accompanied by numerous rapids and wildwater canyons. In several places you can go rafting in rubber boats or canoes with expert guidance. For our sporty guests a real winner.

In a day reach you can make a mountain hike in the fantastic National Park Paklenica under expert guidance. You can choose from tours with varying degrees of difficulty but always enjoy the most rugged terrain in an area where still bears and wolves are living in the wild (though you will be lucky to get to see them). For the fans a real winner.

For those who are interested is the world famous pilgrimage Medjugorje available in a day trip. Like Lourdes it is a place of an appearance with visitors from all over the world. It is a decent climb up, but believers are gladly willing to do it.

From the island of Murter, you can take the boat to visit the fantasti c natural environment of the Kornati islands.
You have to get up early because the boat leaves at 9:00 am and the ride to Murter takes about an hour. Also, it is not really cheap per person, but included is a long boat ride, lunch, opportunity to swim in a crystal clear sea under expert guidance. And please note: a day in an amusement park is much more expensive!

So much is possible in the area. Almost daily you can use the boat to a vispicnic. The glass boat to explore the underwater world. There are several diving schools in the immediate vicinity. In Medena hotel at about 2 km. you will find a diving school, tennis, mini golf, water skiing, banana, para-sailing, etc. From the campsite Belvedere (about 1 km) throughout the day a boat goes to Trogir in July and August from the harbour in Vranjica). Latest activity. From 2014 by Omis in the canyon of the river Cetinja it is possible to make a trip in the zipline. For sports tourists an unforgettable experience. Under very expert guidance you explore the canyon along a parcours of steel cables.
Also Canyoning is organized here, like rafting and canoeing on wild water.
In short, how adventurous you want to have it?

Equally impressive is a visit to a cave, which is located approximately 40 km. distance from Seget Vranjica. Not very big, but very worthwile. A great trip for half a day.

Game of Thrones location Klis is only 25 km. from us. Many recordings for the TV series are made here, the castle provides a magnificent view towards the sea and the city of Split. An authentic castle on top of a hill that is well worth a visit.

On the entire peninsula of Seget Vranjica can NOT be parked on the street, but only on private property. We have a garage with 2 places and a carport available, so parking is no problem at all. If you indicate when booking that you come by car, we will reserve a parking space for you.
