This cozy ruralhut dates from 1713 and was already a hospitable place to spend the night for passers-by from the adjacent stagecoach shelter.
Rurally located in the picturesque village of Fraiture, in the beautiful nature reserve of Baraque de Fraiture.
The cottage has been respectfully restored. The interior of wood and the natural stone walls create a romantic and authentic atmosphere.
On the ground floor is the living room and fully equipped kitchen with 4-burner electric hob and combi oven (grill / convection / microwave), refrigerator, pans + service, double coffee maker (Senseo swift), kitchen linen are provided. In addition to the central heating, a wood stove provides extra cozy warmth.
Upstairs 1 bedroom, with 2 x 1 pers box spring beds, these are equipped with bed linen + towels. Bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom. Baby cot + high chair possible on request.
Outside 2 x private terrace in 2 x private gardens, 1 of which is completely fenced and with a BBQ.
Centrally, rurally located in the beautiful piece of nature reserve of ski slope Baraque Fraiture, on one of the highest peaks of the Ardennes.
For the winter months, with its own ski slope in the village, namely the ski slope of Baraque de Fraiture, within walking distance. With also departure for a day of cross-country skiing, material can be rented on the slope itself. For the summer months, it is good to stay along or on the river Ourthe, for a day of canoeing or kayaking.
Beautiful walking tours, mountain bike tours, cycling tours depart directly from the ruralhut. The routes are available on a map in the cottage. Or visit a town or village, including La Roche-en-Ardenne, Bastogne, Houffalize, Malmedy, in short, come and discover for yourself in the beautiful Ardennes.
