Our comfortable house is detached and located on a non-main road on the outskirts of the village of Engreux (near Houffalize). The house is equipped for 6 people and is surrounded by a large wooded garden (5000 m²). It offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday in nature. Directly from the house you walk into the woods for a walk, an hour or about 4 to 5 hours around the junction of the Ourthe. There is also a mountain bike route through the village to Houffalize, where you can go in all directions again. In the nearby Ourthe there are opportunities for canoeing, supping and relaxing along the shore. Within walking distance is the recently renovated café Le Vieil Engreux (new owner) where you can eat for a reasonable price. A public charging station for electric cars is 50 meters away.
As far as the layout is concerned: on the ground floor is a large living room, with dining, reading and sitting area with wood stove. Furthermore, a compact well-equipped kitchen, spacious hallway, bathroom with shower cubicle and corner bath, toilet and 2 bedrooms. On the first floor a large loft with library and two bedrooms. Outside the house a veranda with fireplace, so in bad weather you can also sit outside. WIFI (secured) available.
