Winter: Only a 4-minute walk (250 m) from the ski bus stop and in one minute you can reach the Isskogelbahn - your gateway to the huge Zillertal Arena ski area. In good snow, experienced skiers can even ski almost to the front door. A cross-country ski trail is only a 5-minute walk away. Various winter hiking trails with breathtaking mountain scenery.
Summer: Free, unlimited lift passes for Gerlos and Königsleiten included! These lifts lead to panoramic views, family-friendly hikes, and fun mountaintop playgrounds. Walk or cycle right outside the front door. Hiking trails for all levels of difficulty – for families with prams or experienced mountain hikers. Nearby, you can cool off in Lake Durlaßboden (5 minutes' drive) or explore the local swimming pools (20 minutes' drive). My co-host Eliska has young children and her husband is a local mountain bike guide, so they can give insider tips and help you plan your trips.
