Winter: Only a 4-minute walk (250 m) to the ski bus stop, from there you can reach the Isskogelbahn in one minute - your access to the extensive Zillertal Arena ski area. In good snow conditions, experienced skiers can ski down almost to the front door. A cross-country ski trail is just a 5-minute walk away. There are also various winter hiking trails with a magnificent mountain backdrop.
Summer: Free, unlimited lift passes for Gerlos and Königsleiten included! These lifts lead to panoramic views, family-friendly hikes and exciting adventure playgrounds on the mountain. Start hiking or cycling tours right outside the front door. Hiking trails for all levels - from family-friendly routes with prams to tours for experienced mountaineers. Nearby you can refresh yourself in the Durlaßboden reservoir (5 minutes by car) or visit local swimming pools (20 minutes by car). My co-host, Eliska, has young children of her own, and her husband is a local mountain bike guide – both of whom are happy to give you insider tips and help plan your excursions.
