Wanderfalk Lodge

Our Luxury Alpine Chalet , the Wanderfalk Lodge, is perfect for a relaxing holiday with family and friends in all seasons. It is located in the beautiful & peaceful Hochkönig mountain valley. Great for skiing (Ski Amadé), hiking, climbing, mountain biking, golfing or just enjoying nature and the comforts of the chalet.

The chalet is spaciously designed (260m2 over 3 floors) and offers you all the luxuries of modern life. From the many windows and balconies you can enjoy the sun and the beautiful mountain scenery. It has 17 beds, ideal for 10-12 adults and some children.

In summer including Hochkönig card (free use of mountain lifts, hiking bus, swimming pool, etc.)

Please bear in mind before booking that our chalet is located in the middle of a very quiet village and our neighbors live nearby. So it is only suitable for groups that respect the quiet environment.

THE LIVING SPACE | FIRST FLOOR

The entire first floor of the chalet is furnished as living space. This floor consists of a spacious kitchen, a dining area , a lounge with a fireplace , an entertainment corner and a large terrace .

• The spacious and modern kitchen has a cooking island with an induction cooking system, a luxurious fully automatic Jura coffee machine , 2 refrigerators, a freezer, 2 XL dishwashers and a modern oven with a built-in microwave.
• The dining area not only offers beautiful views on all sides, but also a 4 meter long dining table that seats 16 adults.
• On sunny days you can enjoy the large terrace next to the living room. It has a covered lounge area, dining table and gas fired BBQ.
• The entertainment corner has a 50 inch TV with Netflix, Playstation 4 and Denon Sound System.

WELLNESS

After a wonderful day of skiing or hiking, you can enjoy and dream away in the large bath with a view over the entire valley or relax in the spacious Finnish sauna.

BEDROOMS | GROUND FLOOR and UPPER FLOOR

The chalet has 6 spacious bedrooms. The upper floor has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have an extra attic room. These attic rooms both have a comfortable staircase, but a limited headroom. The other 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor.

• Bedroom 1 and 2, on the ground floor, have a king size XL double bed (180 x 210 cm), en-suite bathroom and a veranda.
• Bedroom 3 and 4, on the upper floor at the front of the chalet, have a king-size XL double bed (180 x 210 cm), en-suite bathroom and a balcony. Bedroom 3 also has a double bed (180cm x 200cm) in the attic room.
• Bedroom 5, upstairs at the back, has a Kingsize XL bunk bed (90cm x 210cm) and a double bed (180cm x 200cm) in the attic room.
• Bedroom 6, upstairs at the back, has an XL bunk bed (90 cm x 210 cm) and an XL single bed (90 cm x 210 cm).
• Bedroom 5 and 6 have access to a shared bathroom. The large luxury bathroom with bath is en-suite to room 4, but also accessible from the hall.
• All bedrooms have wardrobes and a 40” Smart TV (except bedroom 5). All XL double beds can also be separated to make 2 single beds.

SKI ROOM and WASH ROOM

On the ground floor you will find the entrance to the chalet and into our large hall. The ski room is on the left side of the chalet. On the ground floor you will also find a communal toilet and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer.
