Carinthia is a great holiday destination all year round, with relatively many hours of sun in both summer and winter, due to its location on the southern side of the Alps.
Our house is right in the village built against the mountain, creating a stunning view is over the village and the Italian Alps.
It is a very large house and many amenities.
The ground floor has a spacious kitchen a spacious dining and sitting area. Also located in the construction a 2-bedroom suite.
In the hall is the bathroom and a room with washer and dryer.
The layout of the upper floor is as follows.
A second double bedroom with balcony.
A 2-bedroom without balcony.
A four-bedroom with loft. The loft offers sleeping for 2 people. This room also features a balcony.
There is a luxurious bathroom with bath, shower and double sinks.
Around the entire house is a large landscaped terrace with a porch along the entire length of the front.
New is our bread service, at 7:30, your ordered bread and limited food comes in a box at the door!
In the winter:
The ski area Nassfeld / Hermagor has 110km slopes, with a descent of 7,5km.
The ski bus to Nassfeld / Hermagor is ± 300 meters.
By car you are within 10 minutes at the rink, where there is plenty of parking, there is a continuous drive train from the parking lots to the ski lift.
The ski bus stops in front of the ski lift.
Your ski equipment can be rented here and deposit.
Weissensee, known for the eleven cities is ± 20 km away.
During the summer:
There are numerous hiking and biking trails from easy to difficult.
The last hole of Gail Golf can be seen from the terrace of Villa Vicana.
In Waidegg (Municipal Kirchbach) is the golf course Gailtal Golf.
In the immediate vicinity are still several golf courses.
An excellent starting point for your golf vacation.
There are several lakes in the area, Weissensee, Pressegersee etc ..
Carinthia is wonderful to explore by bike!
Italy and Croatia are ideal destinations for a day trip to.
in the vicinity is a riding school from which you can make a nice trip by horse along as the Gail.
Gail is also well worth it, for cooling off on hot days and to have a picnic for example. Or Barbecuing.
There are several cleats in the area. (Garnitzen Klamm Klamm Mauthen)
Tip: Reserve early for school these fill up quickly!

Tomorrow is our last day in Villa Vicana! We had a wonderful week in your beautiful and tastefully furnished villa.
We fully enjoyed the mountains, nature and tranquility. Every day fresh bread to the front door and beautiful weather. We will with pleasure recall Villa Vicana! "
Winter 2012:
"From the moment we booked it we have felt enormously welcome. On arrival our expectations were even surpassed; what a great house, a room, a luxurious equipment and a great location. We have spent a week with two families (five young children) spent, we were looking for a nice resort and a home for a group of 9. And that we found. Arrival was well arranged through the house mistress (also bakery), always accessible in case of spills problems, the baker yield delicious sandwiches at home with even surprises for the children.
In the area plenty of shops for groceries.
Distance house and slopes (10 minutes by car), shuttle possibly within walking distance. Nassfeld piste: great, very family friendly.
All in all nothing but praise, so we come up with a lot of fun back next year. "
