It's a treat to have breakfast every morning with the beautiful view of Lake Como! Because we had a very warm August week, it was not a problem that you sit in the shade on the balcony in the afternoon. The house was nice and cool in the heat.
The apartment was spacious and clean and we found the presence of a dishwasher and washing machine pluses.
The location is a bit higher than the village. As a result, you have the aforementioned fantastic view, but it is less easy to walk to the village. We understood that there were steep roads going down especially for pedestrians, but unfortunately we didn't try them.
The last 50 meters to the cottage go through a very narrow alley with a kink. With a small to average car this is (just on), with an SUV or larger car you will have to park in front of the alley.
In the area there are many walking routes, cycling routes and nice villages to visit. The beaches around the lake in the area provide cooling in the summer.
We had a wonderful week in the apartment and recommend it wholeheartedly!
