It was an (almost) perfect place for us. Apart from the weather with real March showers and the lack of a cups-coffee machine. But you can live with that. We had brought our own Nescafé device just to be sure. :-)

Nice comfortable, spacious farmhouse. Had a wonderful time. Beautiful, quiet area for a nice walk. Recommended!

We enjoyed the comfortable farmhouse with the atmosphere of the past. We had a nice walk, read a lot and also played outside, in the winter sun:). Together with family members who had rented the granary across the street. Also ...

Actually, we shouldn't reveal anything about this house, maybe it will become too popular;-) But what a lovely, attractive and quiet house. The interior has also been thought through: rural/VT Living with a touch of antique. The beds are made with nice bed linen including plaid, if it is cold then the bed is made with an electric blanket. What you see in the photos is really true. The bath and kitchen linen is also amply available. Okay, maybe the six of you want one more plastic cutting board, we can't think of much more than that. After a day on the road, you buy a nice baguette or a forgotten jam on the way "home" at the local Spar (owner is a former bakery), and finally go through the day together with a glass of wine by the wood stove. French Ardennes boring? As lovers of the countryside, we have not experienced the French Ardennes as boring at all. In short, worth repeating.

Sometimes you come to a holiday home where you immediately feel 'at home' from the first moment. This is one of those houses. We enjoyed the farm and the surroundings. Of course, there is always room for improvement, but that is marginal. For example, we missed a coffee capsule machine, but we understood from the smooth contact with the owner that they are working on it...:)

The house is fully equipped and has a beautiful, spacious garden with seating areas on all sides (so always sun and shade). If you like to make trips to larger cities, allow for a little more travel time. For peace and quiet you have certainly come to the right place.
