I am Aart Zeeman and have been in the French Ardennes since 2008. In that year we bought a small farmhouse with grain barn in a small hamlet near the village of Liart. It was a nice and cozy house in a quiet area. Very nice is that the history of the house and the previous residents can be seen on plates on the walls. A lot of work has been done to make it this beautiful house.

A very nice house in a beautiful area where you can go for a walk. We enjoyed the budding nature, the concert of birds in the morning and the beautiful starry skies in the evening... Would love to come back again!

It was an (almost) perfect place for us. Apart from the weather with real March showers and the lack of a cups-coffee machine. But you can live with that. We had brought our own Nescafé device just to be sure. :-)
