We stayed for a week with our family - our children and supporters are around 20 - in this lovely house. This quiet spacious holiday home quickly feels like a home. Everything has been thought of. From fish cutlery and meters of books to Dutch TV (handy when we wanted to watch football!) and comfortable sunbeds.

The 6 spacious bedrooms have good beds and beautiful views of the countryside. That's always nice to wake up. Every moment of the day, at every temperature, there is a place where it is good to be, both inside and outside.

We are surprised by the beautiful surroundings. The beautiful beaches, the spectacular hills, the town of Setúbal... What a joy to be here. Tip: for bread and perhaps the tastiest pastel de belem, go to Casa Negrito in Azeitão.

We were here at the end of October, the weather was still lovely. From the house you can easily reach Setubal, Lisbon or the sea. The house meets all needs, highly recommended for a large group or two families.

Everything is close by, several beaches, Sétubal, Azeitao. Lisbon is also a 40-minute drive away. Definitely worth repeating! Thank you so much for a memorable holiday.

Beautiful complete holiday home where we spent a nice time with family. Everything is there, but especially the swimming pool and the bbq location with beautiful views were very much to our liking. Very friendly and approachable landlord who likes to think along with you to make your holiday as carefree as possible.

Been to this lovely comfortable house for the 6th time. It was like coming home for us. The house is surrounded by nature and 5 minutes by car from the beach. Now, in these corona times, eating out is no problem at all. It is also possible to order a delicious Portuguese meal here and have it delivered. There will definitely be a 7th time for us, unfortunately we have to wait a while!!

Unfortunately due to Corona we could not go to the Lisbon area but there was plenty of other entertainment. Setubal is known for its delicious seafood restaurants. Owner and daughter-in-law are very friendly people and if there is anything they solve it immediately. I just say rent.

We had a wonderful holiday at Casa Aldeia Grande. It was the perfect place for our family to spend a relaxing two weeks. We enjoyed the pool a lot and it was super helpful that there were cribs and toys available for our two young children so we did not have to take so much with us.

The beds were really comfortable, the house was spotless and it really was a home away from home. The kitchen had everything that you could need and the bbq was a great extra plus.

The house was close to multiple supermarkets and the fish market. The beach and Setúbal downtown were also short drives away.

We will be back! :)
