The review already shows that we had a great time in the Finca. It lacked nothing. The condition is that you like a quiet environment because you will find optimal peace and quiet there. Lovely swimming pool and all necessary facilities are available. The surroundings are very beautiful and varied. Beautiful beach in Vinaros which is also a very nice Spanish town with many nice shops and terraces. On the other hand, you can enjoy a beautiful nature reserve in the mountains. All this at a relatively short distance. That's why I enjoyed this environment to the fullest on my road bike. One day a drive to the coast, the next day into the beautiful nature reserve. In short, an absolute must for anyone who loves peace and wants to enjoy the real Spanish atmospheres because there is no mass tourism on this costa yet

Partly thanks to this beautiful and complete holiday home, we enjoyed a very relaxed holiday. The quiet location, the 100% privacy and the lovely swimming pool made our stay at finca Mater unforgettable!

Together with our son and his girlfriend enjoyed a well-deserved holiday. I've been looking forward to it for months and I haven't been disappointed. What a beautiful holiday home this is. We didn't lack anything. Several nice places to nestle, have an aperitif or play a board game. The beautiful surroundings between the mandarin trees and orange trees, the small village of Sant Jordi where you feel like a real Spaniard without tourists. The unconditional help of Marco and Lia in need. In short, a place under the sun that you dream of. The interior spaces are practical and spacious enough. Also, the quiet fans in the rooms are so much nicer than a disturbing air conditioner. Hendrik and Els are also top sellers. Very friendly and helpful. Also correct communication, which I think is very important.

We had a fantastic time as a family at Finca Mater. We were kindly welcomed by Marco who gave a very good explanation of everything that is present in the Finca. He's also really there for you if you have a problem.
As people who like to go on holiday and find comfort important, we were a bit scared because there is no air conditioning, but this turned out to be really unnecessary. The shutters and fans kept the Finca sufficiently fresh for us.
We found that everything was there for a pleasant stay:
- spacious rooms, good mattresses, beds made
- house very well cleaned on arrival
- Very well equipped kitchen with 2 refrigerators, one with freezer compartment and one with 3 freezer drawers so you can keep everything perfectly cool.
- large bath towels for the sunbeds, bath towels for after showering and also smaller towels
- a beautiful swimming pool with clear water, 6 good sunbeds, in addition a spacious terrace with a large dining table where a fan hangs so that you are not bothered by flies that come to your food.
- a garage so your car can be parked out of the sun
In less than fifteen minutes you are on the dike of Vinaros, a nice seaside town with restaurants where you can get a nice 3-course menu for 13 to 15 euros drink included.
We had a very nice stay and will definitely go back.

We have a very good experience with the Finca of the Family de Preester. This can all be read in previous reviews. I will therefore write my review a bit differently to list some more advantages that are normally not self-evident when renting a holiday home.

- Smooth communication and also a generous set-up in case of possible cancellation due to the Corona pandemic
- Facilities and distances to properties actually correspond to what is specified in the description
- Welcomed by Marco, a pleasant arrival!
- The house was completely clean on arrival!
- Sufficient and solid garden furniture such as; Large sturdy umbrellas, plenty of sturdy sunbeds. decent dining table
- Always have hot water, even for the garden shower.
- Kitchen spacious with all appliances
- Weekly pool maintenance by Marco

For us, there aren't really any negatives either. Had some problems with flies and wasps in particular. But Marco also indicated that this year it was extreme with the amount of insects. For us it wasn't really very disturbing.

In short, we had a great holiday!
