We have experienced the house as good. We were 8 people. Spacious enough, not recommended with 12pers or more, because 1 bathroom is really too little. We had also rented the sauna. We didn't use it, but we did use the shower that goes with it. Furthermore, the house is complete. You can heat it well. We had good contact with the landlords.
The location is fine, within 10 minutes you are in Winterberg.
In short, we look back on it positively!

We have been in the house for a week with two families. Children had a great time. Contact went great. Just a nice house to explore a week of sharing neighborhood.

We had a very nice weekend, but we don't give such a high rating because quite a few things in the house were broken and, after immediately sending an email, we had no response at all. It was also not very clean, crockery and cutlery first put in the dishwasher. For a group of 15 people, we think the facilities are just a bit too little.

We think the holiday home is faded glory. 2 beds were not sturdy enough for young (so light) children who just lay down quietly. Cottage is for 14 people but they do not fit at the same time at the dining table or in 1 (of 2 small) sitting rooms. Found a dining chair for everyone with difficulty. Unsafe sockets, poor maintenance, no lock on the door of 2nd shower/solarium/sauna. If the kettle and dishwasher are lit at the same time, the fuses blow. Dishwasher leaking.
Positive: cleaning is good.

Unfortunately for me, there were too many stairs. I have difficulty walking. The children did enjoy the sauna. we were just unlucky that my wife had to go to the hospital in Winterberg, which I find a difficult hospital. difficult to understand due to the dialect. Winterberg is a real thieves' municipality, as soon as there are many Dutch people, the gasoline goes up by leaps and bounds on weekends. I couldn't find a decent guesthouse/hotel in Winterberg to stay with my wife. Everything was focused, at least most of them, on the winter season.

Had a wonderful week and enjoyed it to the fullest.
It's just a pity that the lawn wasn't mowed and it wasn't attractive for the little ones to play and stay on the grass.
