What a beautiful setting and a beautiful house. The house is equipped with all conveniences and as Dutch people it is nice to be able to receive the Dutch channels, such as live images of the Tour de France. We were also very c...

What a beautiful setting and a beautiful house. The house is equipped with all conveniences and as Dutch people it is nice to be able to receive the Dutch channels, such as live images of the Tour de France. We were also very close to everything such as Trier, Prüm and Bitburg. The hiking trails are right next door.
Upon arrival we were welcomed with a delicious beer, the bottle of wine was already ready in the house. Pierre and Jannie are hunters and they lease a large area that they have to maintain. Pierre once took us in his jeep on a "safari" along their area, very impressive. Every week we got a piece of "venison" (roe deer or boar) for dinner, never thought that the meat of a "wild boar" would be so tasty.
In short, a top holiday in a great house with friendly host and hostess in beautiful surroundings.

Had a fantastic time. The house is very spacious and fully equipped, super clean and tidy. Location directly on the forest, many hiking trails available. There is plenty to discover in the area (including Luxembourg within 40 minutes travel time) The owners are very hospitable and do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible, they also have many tips about the area. In short, beautiful surroundings and a super place to discover them.

Spacious, neat holiday home, cozy to heat with a wood stove. Is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Fully equipped and directly a walking possibility in front of the door.
Nice, helpful owners, the beer was cold when we arrived. Our motorcycles were allowed in the lockable garage.

We had a wonderful holiday, it felt familiar ;)
Outside it was hot, but the apartment was cool.
The blackthorn berries are now in the freezer, I make a liqueur from them at home with Jannie's recipe. I still make jam...

We had a wonderful walk in the Eifel, the 'safari' with Pierre was great, especially his stories.
In short, we enjoyed the Eifel and the Brabant hospitality of Jannie and Pierre.

Had a very nice holiday with Jannie and Pierre. It was the first holiday with our dog. Despite the fact that there was no fence, he could walk around freely, because it is located on a dead end. You can also walk straight into the forest. The house is on the left side of the picture.
The downstairs apartment is nice and cool in the summer. The interior is a bit old-fashioned, but super neat and fully equipped. It is also a good base to discover beautiful places in the Eifel.
In short, highly recommended.
