We have had a great holiday in la Barillère! Even though Gerda was not present when we arrived, there were all kinds of goodies ready. Nice attention! The house has everything you need and is very clean. The domain is very large and has many possibilities, the swimming pool is superb! Gerda also lives on the domain, but you still have all the privacy, and if you have a question she is happy to help. The house is very secluded and quiet. As a result, the bakery, shop and all excursions are further away, but it is worth it. Our children were able to enjoy themselves and we enjoyed every moment! We would love to come back again!

We had a lovely time at La Barillère, this is the perfect place to unwind. A house that is fully equipped with a large garden with its own swimming pool. Absolutely recommended!

The location is quiet and rural, no crowds and very relaxed. If you are looking for a lot of hustle and bustle and entertainment, this is less suitable. A visit to nearby Loches is highly recommended.

La Barillère is located in the middle of the fields. For a supermarket you have to drive a little further. The house looks more like a spacious studio. Bathroom and toilet is downstairs, the bedrooms upstairs. Something to keep...

La Barillère is located in the middle of the fields. For a supermarket you have to drive a little further. The house looks more like a spacious studio. Bathroom and toilet is downstairs, the bedrooms upstairs. Something to keep in mind. The passage from kitchen to living room (but also in the bedrooms) is low for the Dutch. It's easy to hit your head. Nevertheless, we found La Barillère to be a fantastic place to spend your holiday. The friendly welcome (with goodies!), the fantastic rural location, the tranquility and the fact that you really feel like you are on a French farm makes it a perfect location for a week's holiday. And during hot days you can take a refreshing dip in the pool and the huge garden offers plenty of shade and sun. There's something for everyone.

If you are really looking for peace and quiet, La Barillére is the perfect address. The holiday home is spacious and equipped with all comforts. The landlord is extremely helpful and very friendly. Highly recommended!

In the two weeks that we were there it was very hot and we made good use of the pool. By car there were plenty of shops and special sightings in the area. We had a nice time here.

It was fantastic. I was afraid that we were going too far from everything, but the surrounding villages are undiscovered gems. If you are looking for a lot of entertainment, you should not be here, but if you are looking for peace and quiet and you don't mind driving half an hour to an hour for sightseeing, then this is the place to be. Supermarket is a fifteen minute drive away.
In the cottage you lack nothing. It's clean, everything is there and it works properly. We enjoyed the pool and the huge garden with a view. Gerda is a hospitable lady for whom nothing is too much. In short, highly recommended
