A very nice and quiet place to stay. The surroundings are very beautiful, the house is atmospheric, the pool lovely and the mosaic workshop highly recommended. Gerda is very welcoming and very attentive.

Nice holiday home in a beautiful, especially quiet area. Lovely swimming pool where you can enjoy the chirping of the birds. Friendly landlady who welcomed us with a bottle of wine and something sweet.

We had a super stay in this great house. We enjoyed the peace, the surroundings and the swimming pool, but certainly also the hospitable owner. Highly recommended

The cottage is a bit back, but there are a lot of castles nearby or villages that you can go and see. There is also a large nature reserve nearby. The cottage itself is neat, although I think it could be decorated a little more...

The pool is well maintained but is located a little further away from the cottage itself. There are plenty of seating areas throughout the large garden where you can sit. Gerda does everything she can to give her guests all the peace and space they need for a great holiday. We had a nice stay.

We enjoyed two weeks during our stay at La Barillère where we really lacked nothing. The huge grounds with terraces everywhere, the holiday home that is fully equipped, the lovely swimming pool, the beautiful and quiet surround...

The huge grounds with terraces everywhere, the holiday home that is fully equipped, the lovely swimming pool, the beautiful and quiet surroundings and the friendly hostess who spoiled us with all kinds of goodies... All this made for an unforgettable holiday.

We had a great time in this nice house. Our daughters (9 and 11 years old) enjoyed the swimming pool, the mosaic workshop, the private room and the gigantic garden. Also, the cat that came every now and then was very sociable. ...

Also, the cat that came every now and then was very sociable. You can relax here. A beautiful place that has not yet been ruined by mass tourism. Gerda is a fantastic hostess who is quite helpful. It was so much fun that we immediately booked for next year. We would love to come back again.

We were able to stay with Gerda for a wonderful two weeks with our young family. The house is located in a beautiful spot in the middle of the French fields. Apart from a few pheasants and other animals, you don't hear anything...

We were able to stay with Gerda for a wonderful two weeks with our young family. The house is located in a beautiful spot in the middle of the French fields. Apart from a few pheasants and other animals, you don't hear anything around you. Combine this with a beautiful swimming pool and beautiful sunsets (with even the occasional deer passing by!) and you can relax. Gerda is a very nice hostess. She is there when you need her for tips and other things and makes you feel very welcome and at home.
