Had a wonderful week with our family. What a nice, well-cared for and fully equipped accommodation. In a beautiful place with a nice view. In the May holidays we had 3 real winter sports days on the hintertux glacier. A 45-minute drive away is easy to do. But there is also a lot to do in the vicinity, even with slightly less weather. Hiking to the waterfall, climbing in the kletterzentrum, the swimming pool in fügen and a visit to Rattenberg. Also good restaurants a short distance away. We would love to come back sometime.

There is plenty in the house, the washing machine was a big plus. Even toys (Playmobil) and games available. Typically Austrian in terms of décor... blends in with the environment.

Enough space for the four of us. Pillows too soft for our liking and we have had better mattresses.

Mosquito nets everywhere and the shutters was a nice bonus.

Holiday home absolutely recommended.
Although the price range was a bit on the high side for us, there is nothing else to complain about.

Perfect house with all the comforts. Especially with a dog, this is perfect. Just make sure that you bring bags for stool (throughout Austria). The meadows around the house do invite you to let the dog walk there, but I don't think that's really appreciated.
In this house and this area you really experience the Austrian feeling. The deer that walked in front of the door every day were an extra!
Good base to move throughout Austria. We are travelers who are not limited by 200 or 300 km there and 200 or 300 km back to see something beautiful. So that was/is also doable. Plenty of villages nearby for shopping, restaurants and activities. What we recommend (pay attention to the travel time and distance: Maurach am Achensee or Pertisau, GrossglocknerHochAlpstrasse, Schlegeis reservoir, Hintertux Glacier and then in terms of shopping: Salzburg, Herzogenaurach (Germany is 3 hours there and 3 hours back, but there you have the factories and the factory outlet of Adidas, Puma, Nike.) and not to forget Innsbruck!
In short, do you want to experience Austria and do so in a lovely Austrian-style cottage, but still fully equipped? Then book this house quickly! Kind regards, Family Rob Heijtink
