This apartment is fully equipped, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchenette with facilities that are most used by us (senseo, toaster, oven, dishwasher, etc..). When you step out the door, you can choose to walk through the meadows with beautiful views or through the woods. We ourselves love running and have walked around the area several times for a solid hill / mountain training. The trails can also be used for mountain biking or Nordic walking. Between half an hour / an hour's drive you can visit various wildlife parks / gossip / swim, something that our children also enjoyed during the warm summer period that we were there. In the towns of Winterberg and Medebach there are plenty of shops to do your daily shopping. In addition, there is a hotel / restaurant 200 m away where you can get freshly baked bread rolls in the morning. We will definitely come back to this apartment!

In terms of location, many possibilities. You can walk irect from the cottage, but the surrounding villages are also nearby. If you drive to Winterberg go via Elkeringhausen, it is nicer and shorter. We also used the bus, it is well arranged. We had a very nice week.

Very nice apartment, equipped with many conveniences (including dishwasher, oven, wifi, Dutch TV) in a beautiful environment. The immediate area is very suitable for hikers, runners (for hill training) and mountain bike tours. ...

Very nice apartment, equipped with many conveniences (including dishwasher, oven, wifi, Dutch TV) in a beautiful environment. The immediate area is very suitable for hikers, runners (for hill training) and mountain bike tours. Upon arrival you will get a short tour of the apartment with an explanation of how everything works by friendly hostess. We as a family (2 adults and 4 children) visited the various villages in the area (Winterberg, Willingen, Bruchhausen, Brilon) for e.g. a toboggan run, bird of prey show, wildlife park or a walk around rocks on the Istenberg, one of which could be climbed.
We think we haven't seen everything in the 9 days so we will definitely come back to enjoy the surroundings.

Great apartment in a great area. Super nice owners. On arrival warmly welcomed by Linda, she gave a tour and explanation about the apartment, there was also a nice bottle of red wine and chocolates. The apartment is as the pictures show and really fully furnished, even baking paper, napkins, ice cube bags etc were there. The area is perfect for hiking, a nice walk is to walk to Winterberg and back by bus (free transport via the sauerlandcard). You can eat delicious in the village at restaurant lichte, the dog is also allowed.we have had three great weeks and will definitely come back. Linda and Ivo thank you again and see you next time.
