I don't often give a 10 for everything, but this villa deserves it! It is, in a word, magnificent!
Villa Soleada is a top holiday villa located in one of the most vibrant places of Curaçao, Jan Thiel. Located a stone's throw from the beach and nightlife, but in a very quiet residential area.
This holiday villa has everything you could wish for.
It starts during the booking process. Saskia, the owner/landlord of this villa is always there for you very quickly via email if you have any questions.
Once we arrived, Walter, the caretaker, was already ready for us to hand us the keys, explain everything and give us a tour. Walter is also available for you if you have any questions throughout the holiday. Although we didn't need him often because everything was fine!
The villa is truly beautiful! Everything is neat, very clean, complete and luxurious, very luxurious! You don't have to bring much from home because everything has been thought of. From bed linen, towels, beach towels, hair dryer, games etc. All you have to do is pack your (swim)wear and toiletry bag and go!
There are air conditioners in the bedrooms which is very welcome and the whole house is equipped with mosquito nets on the shutter windows so that you are not bothered by mosquitoes at night and can let everything blow through by opening the shutters. This is very welcome with the Curaçao night temperatures.
The children of 13 and 16 years also enjoyed the swimming pool and the good WIFI 😉
We stayed here for a total of 11 days and halfway through the week the ladies of the cleaning made everything and span again, changed the beds and provided us with clean towels.
In the large, very neat garden there are plenty of relaxation places available. In or out of the sun, sit or relax on the lounge sofas. My favorite place was in the shade, under the palapa where there is always a nice breeze blowing. With a large carafe of water with ice cubes in it that you can get ready-made from the American fridge.
In short, this villa is highly recommended if you like peace, luxury and cosiness. You really have a holiday in villa soleada! It's just GREAT!
