Contact with the landlord beforehand went great! Got quick answers to questions. It's just a pity that there was no bbq while this was in the description.
Unfortunately, the service on site itself, at reception, was of lower quality. Several who don't speak English and only spoke very quickly, which made it difficult to understand them. In addition, they only did the bare necessities and seemed anything but professional! Young ladies who were mostly smoking with other young people behind the reception. At check out they didn't even ask how our stay had been. Got our deposit back and a real goodbye didn't come out. What a pity!
But I have to say that the cottage was really perfect! Wonderfully clean, spacious and bright! The only downside was that the terrace has planks that gave us splinters and our eldest son even had to go to the hospital to have it removed. So please put on flip flops when you walk outside!
On the site there are still old photos in which it seems that you have a lot of privacy and can look away from you. Unfortunately this is no longer the case, you have all kinds of houses around you. This holiday, for example, there were whole groups on the site from Christian background, very friendly though, whose young people have caused nuisance, especially in the late hours and nights. Unfortunately, addressing them didn't help.
Surroundings were beautiful! Right on a ski slope where you can take the lift up three times a week and take beautiful walks. On top of the mountain there are plenty of facilities for young and old for snacks and drinks and entertainment such as a bouncy castle. Not far from the park is an old water mill where our boys were able to play with the water and stones. Pool was unfortunately too far to walk with our two young children (3 and 5 years) so had to go up and down by car. Also beautiful swimming pool, have often been here for several hours a day.
We had a very nice time here despite a number of points which I have described (very honestly) above.
It is definitely recommended if you do not have groups of young people around you.
