From the booking of Le Chariot everything was well taken care of. Quick answer via email and a nice email before arrival. After a warm welcome by the whole family, we found in the house a cold bottle of bubbles, fresh eggs, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, wood for the fireplace and delicious coffee. Top!
The house is spacious, cosily furnished and the beds are fine! The kitchen décor is superb. Really everything is there. We even discovered a blender and hand blender in the drawers (not used, but handy with small children). The garden is also lovely. Lots of different seating areas, a small swimming pool and a nice sauna. We also enjoyed the nice hot tub after a long walk in the woods. The dogs and cat Droppie are there for the entertainment and cuddles!
The location of le Chariot is excellent. Ploërdut is centrally located in Brittany. Most of the sights are about an hour away. We visited Vannes, Carnac (fantastic oysters eaten), Quiberon, the pink granite coast at Ploumanach, Quimper, Concarneau, the forests of Huelgoat and Lorient. In Lorient we went to the Base. Fantastic to see the bunkers for the submarines and the submarine itself. In the vicinity of Ploërdut itself there are some more smaller towns to visit.
Jeanin and Roderick are very welcoming and it is lovely to stay at le Chariot. From next year there will be a gite that is already being worked on (not bothered). Jeanin and Roderick, thank you very much and good luck with the future plans!

You can cycle well along the Canal Brest - Nantes. 5 km from the gite is a large lake at Priziac. In the village there is a good bakery, a shop, a pizzeria, bar (where you can eat well in the afternoon and Saturday evening). Within a 45-minute drive, you can be by the sea. At Carnac you can eat oysters.

Top Cottage! Very complete and in excellent condition. Lots of space outside. You have to drive a bit to the beach or larger towns, but that makes it wonderfully quiet

A very nice place to relax. Nice and secluded, a beautiful garden and very quiet. In the morning we went to the village to get fresh bread. A great base from which to explore Brittany.

We had a great week in le Chariot. What a beautiful spot between the trees and what a lovely large garden. The children have been playing outside and there are places everywhere to sit with a book or eat at one of the picnic tables. The holiday home is nicely furnished and fully equipped. The kindness and hospitality of the Ipenburg family is great. We felt very welcome.

The garden is in one word fantastic, the children have really enjoyed themselves with the animals, all the play equipment that is ready and of course also in the forest behind it. They didn't have to be bored for a moment. And neither do we, for that matter.

There is a large pile of books and a basket of leaflets about Brittany from which we have gained great ideas for trips. Because Le Chariot is more centrally located, you can really go in all directions of Brittany from there.

During the day we were on the road, then we could relax in the beautiful garden and enjoy the hot tub in the evening. What a delight!

We had a very nice time and would like to come back to this beautiful region in a few years and then we will undoubtedly choose this great house again.
