We were received with great hospitality on arrival with a drink, after which we were escorted to the house.

There we found neat and clean rooms. Pleasantly furnished and fully equipped.
Even some first treats, groceries and cool drinks in the fridge were present. What a surprise!

The location of the accommodation was nothing short of beautiful!! Great views and a haven of peace.
A huge beautiful spacious garden with all kinds of flowers, trees and plants. There are also plenty of pleasant seating areas and a lovely spacious swimming pool. Everything neatly maintained.
Many possibilities for sufficient privacy, but also space to meet other guests or for example to barbecue together.

It is clearly visible that the owners put all their love and energy into making it a paradise and ensuring that their guests lack nothing. Nothing is too much for them. Very nice interaction and very welcoming.

Upon arrival we were more than warmly welcomed by Esther. We had done some shopping on the way but we didn't have to. To cook a 1st meal, everything was ready in the apartment. There was also fresh fruit and delicious wine and the beer was cold!
The apartment/cottage is in 1 word great and complete. It is very tastefully decorated and much more spacious than expected. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Through every window there is a beautiful view.
A private garden with lovely lazy chairs and garden furniture. View of the pool which gives a very luxurious feeling;). The pool was still open for us even though it was late October. We were able to swim almost every day.
The BBQ evening and the wine tasting with the other guests was very pleasant and delicious. So well arranged by son David and Esther.
The setting is beautiful and the outfall to other towns and villages, in both Tuscany and Umbria, is perfect. Castiglion Fiorentino itself is also worth a visit. A very nice village!
Usually an apartment/house looks nicer or better in a photo than in real life. This time it was the other way around. It's so beautiful, you can't capture it in a photo.
We are far from bored and had such a good time that we will go again next year. We booked again!
