More than fantastic house!
They have really thought of everything and it is just a very beautiful, warm and well thought out house with so much more around it. Garden, swimming pool, outdoor BBQ, fireplace.. Think of it and it's there. We have been warmly welcomed by the owners, the fridge is stocked and the cake and cookies are ready.
Nothing was short of us! We have had the fireplace on a lot during our holiday because of the bad weather and we got enough wood from the owner to be able to stoke ☺️ Stove was broken and it was repaired the next day. I indicate all this to show that they are incredibly hospitable and want to take care of you optimally and give you a holiday feeling.

The communication through Esther was also great. Very nice that it is arranged this way because the super sweet owners of the house only speak Italian.

What a fantastic holiday home, I can't say anything else. Very friendly welcome on arrival. The fridge was already filled when we arrived. There was a delicious cake ready, fruit basket well filled and two large jars with delicious cookies. The Italian owners were also there on arrival and received us very hospitably. We have rented this holiday home with two families consisting of four adults and three children. The house has a lot of possibilities, both the rooms in the house and the outbuilding with relaxation options. All rooms are nicely decorated. The pool was also beautiful, and separated from the terrace by a gate which was a plus with our children. Air conditioning was provided in all bedrooms. The house is quietly located and a short distance from shops. At a few kilometers you can reach the old village of Castiglion. Here you can eat delicious food, but it is also super cozy to eat an ice cream and walk around. Esther (Dutch landlord) has given us a list of beautiful sights in the area. If we had any questions, Esther was always available and gave the necessary information/help. We have enjoyed this beautiful house for 14 days and really felt like a home to us. We will definitely come back to discover the rest of the area.

What a great complete holiday home! Very friendly welcome on arrival. The fridge was already filled with everything tasty and various drinks. There was also a lot of cookies and cake. The Italian owners were also there on arrival and received us very hospitably.
The house has a lot of possibilities, both the rooms in the house and the outbuilding with relaxation options such as table football. The pool was also beautiful, and separated from the terrace by a gate which is a plus with small children. Air conditioning was provided in all bedrooms, which was certainly an added value for a good night's sleep.
The pizza oven and BBQ outside made for cozy dining on the terrace. Wood and coal were also all present. The beautifully manicured garden completed the picture.
Behind the house is a train track where you sometimes hear a train passing. You can also sometimes hear some activity from the owner's sawmill across the street. This did not bother us.
The house is quietly located and a short distance from shops. At a few kilometers you can reach the old village of Castiglion.
If we had any questions, Esther (Dutch landlord) was always available and gave the necessary information/help.
As a couple and friends, we had a very nice week in Tuscany, worth repeating!

This fantastic house really surpassed everything for us. In reality even more beautiful and bigger than in the pictures. Words are not enough to describe how we experienced it. Beautifully situated, beautiful clean swimming pool, beautiful garden with lots of privacy and very tastefully decorated. Large veranda with bbq and pizza oven. Upon arrival in the night we were warmly welcomed by both the owners and the Dutch hostess Esther. You can see the love for this house everywhere. Very tastefully and luxuriously furnished. You can see that it has recently been completely renovated. It is like new while retaining authentic details. The owner had baked a delicious cake for us and the fruit bowl and fridge were well filled. Everything you could wish for is there. There were even toys for the little one. A baby swimming ring already inflated! The house is delivered really spotless. 3 nice bathrooms with enough lovely towels per bathroom. Washing machine available. The bedrooms are wonderfully cool due to the air conditioning. Bed linen and towels were also changed after 1 week. Bluetooth speakers and nice sun loungers by the pool. Esther and her husband Hans were always there for us. They helped us excellently. The beautiful big cities are easily and quickly accessible by car. Florence we liked to do by train from the village. That went fine in 1 hour and 20 minutes. It really was a dream holiday and we would love to come back! When we left, the owner even gave us a large jar of honey that he had just taken from his own honeycombs that month. We wish the new guests a lot of fun. But that should be possible in this great villa!

The owners have styled the country house very tastefully, it really lacks nothing!
We regularly rent detached houses with swimming pool, but this house surpasses everything!
The fridge was equipped with all kinds of drinks, there were fresh cantuccini cookies, all kinds of spices etc.
We would like to thank the owners very much for the warm contact, we enjoyed the house and everything in and around, in short, a super holiday!

What a beautiful and complete accommodation in a very beautiful area in eastern Tuscany. Easily accessible, also by train. The décor is complete and neat and Italian tasteful. The use of the outdoor area, the games room and especially the swimming pool is great. Suitable for families or small groups. The town itself is worth a visit, as well as surrounding towns. Siena and Assisi are easily accessible by car and were definitely worth it for us. You can also go racing there, on the one hand the valley is flat and the hinterland offers some quiet climbing in a beautiful environment with beautiful nature and all kinds of animals.
Worth mentioning is the owner's small wood factory next to the location: there is some activity, but certainly not a nuisance. There is a train line passing by the cottage. You can hear that, but that wasn't a disturbing factor for us either. A little human activity is everywhere.
