At the reception we were quite surprised how Sogno lay. It is located all the way on the left side of the building and is not visible in the photos at all. Really need to be adjusted! Terrace is in the shade for a long time and is very dark (especially when there is less sun). The garden could use some maintenance.

Wonderfully relaxed in your cottage in a beautiful location. Hospitably received by Claudio. Although the weather was a bit disappointing compared to the Netherlands, we were able to keep ourselves busy. We went out for dinner at various restaurants, the "mandatory" trips to Pisa and Florence and splashed around in the pool.

Fantastic quiet location. We did not find any distance to the shops for groceries disturbing. Lots of nice places in the area. It was very hot, so therefore a little less was done, but the beautiful pool was more than welcome

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Garetto. An hour's drive from Florence, Pisa and Siena you are in an idyllic landscape with a lovely terrace and swimming pool. Enjoy peace, space, the surroundings, Tuscany and its cities and of course the swimming pool. Highly recommended!

We stayed with four people from 16 to 26 June 2019 in Casa Sogno Italiano and we enjoyed it so much!
The information sent in advance turned out to be a great stepping stone for getting to know the beautiful Tuscany better....

We stayed with four people from 16 to 26 June 2019 in Casa Sogno Italiano and we enjoyed it so much!
The information sent in advance turned out to be a great stepping stone for getting to know the beautiful Tuscany better. After a hospitable welcome by the charming Claudio, we found a welcome package from the Dutch neighbors, not to mention a handwritten personal welcome. The landlord could also be reached (if necessary) during the holidays. Nothing is missing in and around the house. The nature is breathtaking and the people are friendly. We enjoyed the Italian nature, culture and hospitality. Highly recommended are Lajactico with its Teatro del Silenzio, Lucca, Volterra and San Simignano. We tasted olive oil at Nove Frantoio and wine in Terriciola at the Lunelli family (delicious). The beach of Vada (Bagni La Pineta) is also a good place to be in warm weather. We enjoyed a wonderful holiday in a great home. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful holiday we had here with the four of us! Casa Sogno Italiano is beautifully situated on a hill. The silence is great, the only sounds you hear are those of birds and insects. On the main road a bit further on, hardly any cars pass by, really unprecedented. The house itself is excellent, with a great kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Because there are shutters and mosquito nets on the windows and doors everywhere, it stays cool and insect-free inside. The gas bbq works well and is easy to use. The terrace has shade throughout the day, which is nice if you are traveling with 2 children. The pool is big enough and lovely and we spent a lot of hours here. The swimming pool, in combination with the presence of Dutch TV and all kinds of games in the house, ensure that there is also plenty to do for the children. The reason I give the child-friendliness an 8 instead of a 9 is the private garden that belongs to Casa Sogno Italiano. This is because it is located a bit lower and can be reached by a stone staircase with fairly high steps. We found this a bit exciting for our youngest (almost 2), but for slightly older children it is no longer a problem at all.

Beautiful house, advantage is the terrace that offers a lot of space and privacy. The extensive information in advance has allowed us to quickly find our way to beautiful places and facilities. The pool is lovely, well maintained and from the pool you have a beautiful view. The house itself is fully equipped, the TV offers Dutch channels, so we were able to follow various World Cup matches. I n Claudio the owners have a a perfect representative, speaks decent English den is very nice an helpful. In short, Sogno Italiano is absolutely recommended.
