We (family with two teenagers and grandma) stayed at Casa di Mozaïek for a week. The house offers every comfort and space, but there are also many wonderful places outside where you can enjoy and relax in peace. Wil and Lily are a great host and hostess, if you need them, they are there for you with tips for the area (both practical and groceries to nice restaurants and sights). That saved us a lot of time to figure out and we were able to make the most of our week. Actually, a stay of a week was too short. This region (Fruili) was also surprisingly beautiful, not touristy and offers many possibilities. The art of mosaics was a surprising discovery. We hope to come back here again, both for the region and Casa di Mozaïek!

If people are looking for a bit of peace and quiet in an authentic, unspoiled part of Italy, this is an ideal destination.

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place to be. There is a lot to do and see around Vigna. Wil and Lily are very friendly people and you don't really notice that they are also present on the premises. The dogs, on the other hand, like to make themselves heard and come to cuddle regularly. We look back on a wonderful holiday and hope to come back here again.

We have been on holiday with Wil and Lily for the second time. It was a warm welcome and pleasant reunion. Our girls immediately fell in love with the dogs Mila and Edward and walked a lot with the dogs together with Lily. We had a great time at this beautiful spot and also enjoyed the cozy drinks and BBQ. We really feel at home in this place and still discover new things all the time, especially through the tips from Wil and Lily. Also this year we did new things, including fishing and visited museum of birds of prey including a beautiful lake. Another favorite for us is the pizzeria Strolic. In short, we enjoyed it again and do not rule out that we will come back again. Thank you, dear Wil and Lily. Big hug from Arjan, Suzanne, Isabella and Rosalie

Wil en Lily zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en erg gastvrij. Je kunt ten alle tijden met vragen bij hen terecht. Zelfs op zondag gezamenlijk met hen een ontzettende mooie autotocht gemaakt en waar we op plekken kwamen die je anders...

Wil en Lily zijn bijzonder vriendelijk en erg gastvrij. Je kunt ten alle tijden met vragen bij hen terecht. Zelfs op zondag gezamenlijk met hen een ontzettende mooie autotocht gemaakt en waar we op plekken kwamen die je anders niet gezien zou hebben. Ook tochten naar Triëst, Udine en Venetië zijn vanaf deze locatie goed te doen. De honden Mila en Edward dragen ook hun steentje bij voor een gezellig verblijf. Wij hebben enorm genoten. Een echte aanrader!!!!!

We hebben genoten in jullie mooie vakantiehuis. Het huis is mooi en ruim en heel rustig gelegen in een nog niet toeristisch gebied in Italie. Onze meiden hebben zich prima vermaakt in het zwembad en natuurlijk met jullie honden Mila en Edward. Door jullie tips hebben we leuke uitstapjes gemaakt in de omgeving: grotten di Pradis, Udine, Trieste en natuurlijk het mooie meertje in de omgeving. Ook de door jullie aangeraden pizzeria was bij ons favoriet. Jullie gastvrijheid en gezelligheid is top! Dank jullie wel voor een heerlijke vakantie. Liefs Arjan, Suzanne, Isabella en Rosalie

Wij hebben genoten van deze mooie, ruime vakantiewoning (gezin met 2 (bijna) volwassen pubers). Heerlijk dat er buiten zoveel verschillende plekjes zijn, waar je kunt zitten. In de vroege ochtend deed ik mijn yoga oefeningen tussen de mooie plantjes net onder het overdekte terras in de schaduw. In de middag konden we daar heerlijk lunchen. ’s Middags zaten we regelmatig bij het mooie terras bij het zwembad (met het prachtige uitzicht) en dan hadden we ook nog de lekkere zit/ligstoelen bij de bbq (waar we ’s avonds naar de vele sterren keken). De gastvrijheid van Wil en Lily is enorm. Ze staan altijd voor je klaar en met hun kennis en tips over de omgeving kom je op heel veel mooie plekjes terecht. Nog een paar ideetjes om naar toe te gaan; het bergmeer bij Redona, hier kun je heerlijk zwemmen (stenenstrandje) en daar in de buurt bij het plaatsje Campone is een heel leuk restaurantje “Las Trias”. Venetië is ook goed te doen met de auto (binnen 1 ½ uur), parkeren bij het station van Mestre (voor € 10,00 per dag) en dan nog 10 minuten met de trein naar Venetië (€ 1,25 p.p.). Alle andere tips staan vermeld in het boekje dat in het huis ligt. Wil en Lily nogmaals hartelijke bedankt voor alles en graag tot ziens bij de Mozaïkworkshop in november in Nederland!
