Lovely house, big enough for our family with three older children. The house is clean and tidy. Caretaker is friendly and helpful. Beautiful surroundings. If you use the Kärnten Card, you often have to drive a little further (3 quarters of an hour to 1 hour). The swimming pool in Kotschach is not free with the Kärnten Card. Small point: the information we received via email and that was present in the cottage is somewhat outdated, so prices are no longer correct. Pay attention to this when purchasing a Kärnten Card, for example. Had a wonderful holiday!

We had beautiful weather and walked several hiking trails in the vicinity of Kotschach.
The Mauther alm is a beautiful route. If you are really a climbing fanatic then you should climb the Hohe Warte, the view is breathtaking, this route starts on the border with Italy (Plönken pass).
The Carinthia card is definitely worth buying, you can easily get the money out of it. You can buy this card at the tourist office in Kotschach opposite the Spar/Lidl.

We were there at the beginning of June so we can't say anything about the winter. In the house everything is amply present in terms of pots and pans etc. Overall had a great week and recommend for everyone.

We have been here for winter sports. Very big, nice and clean house. Fully equipped, especially the washing machine we found ideal. To the large ski resort of Nassfeld it was about 20 minutes away by car, but this is not a punishment as the route is also beautiful. In the village there is a nice restaurant (Josef's) where we went to eat three times. As a vegan it is always difficult for me to find something without just eating lettuce, these people really knew how to make something special out of it and really put in the effort. All in all, this house and its surroundings are highly recommended.

The wood stove gives a wonderful atmosphere and more than enough heat, the house is very well insulated. Owner and manager are very friendly and helpful, for example with arranging a cot and high chair that were not provided as standard.
Highly recommended.
