Fantastic holiday location. You really need a car if you want to go somewhere. A better bed would raise my grade to a 9. For the rest everything is present to have a perfect holiday.

Stayed for the 3rd time with our family with 2 kids (10/15yrs) For us this is a very nice place. The house has a lovely garden with swimming pool, not to mention the barbeque. In the house you lack nothing. The Dutch TV channels are very nice with children and so is the bookcase with the books and games. In the village itself there is a mini market and a few restaurants. In Caldas da Rainha you will find the large supermarkets. (approx. 20min drive) Also nice to spend a day shopping there, to go to the vegetables and fruit market or to visit the park.

The house is close to the lagoon and the beaches/sea. By car you can also easily reach Baleal/Peniche for the beautiful beaches and surfing. Near the house you can rent canoes and pedal boats/take surfing lessons and rent bicycles for a trip around the lagoon.

There is so much to do in the area, we haven't had enough yet!

Beautiful house with beautiful location near the lagoon. For visits to towns and sights you have to take the car, but this can be combined nicely with getting groceries. Beautiful beach very close. Have a great holiday!

We enjoyed our holiday in this Casa for a week in June 2019.

The Casa is located in a quiet street, has a nice garden, nice swimming pool (unfortunately it was too cold to swim in..), cozy terrace and BBQ. Inside everything is in order, it is clean, everything is in stock, including the basic ingredients for cooking, washing-up liquid, soap,... were present, super handy!
(The only thing we missed was a mattress for the travel cot, but we were able to solve this by putting our son on a large mattress on the floor :)).

It was also nice, right on the lagoon: close to the sea it was nice to paddle, and enjoy the almost-empty beach (and possibility to have a nice meal in Rio Cortico Lagoa, have breakfast in Bica da Lagoa). Right next to the cottage we could see the locals catching crabs!

The communication with the owner of the Casa also went very smoothly!

Highly recommended here!!

The sun loungers at the cottage have been broken for a long time, we read in the guest booklet and also cleaning the pool and changing the beds is very nice but still privicy sensitive, there was no ringing of the doorbell and the beds were changed on Friday while Saturday is mentioned. Nice house for a good price. Beautiful surroundings, only the supermarket is half an hour's drive away. A few restaurants within a 20-minute walk via a beautiful path along the lagoon. Delicious food!

Great house. The location is beautiful, when you walk down the street you are already at the lagoon. The pool is fine, not very big, but enough to cool off. There is enough space to sit in the shade as well. Priveci also fine....

Reception with a delicious bottle of wine was much appreciated.
This house is very suitable for four people. Dutch TV is also quite nice when the Tour de France is ridden. Kitchen equipment very complete and there were plenty of books that I found interesting to read.
