If you like peace, lots of privacy and a non-touristy Sicily, then Casa Leonforte is your holiday home. Very friendly reception, a pity that Salvatore speaks almost no English so that is difficult to converse. But if a problem arises, it is quickly solved with the help of the landlord.
Upon arrival we were welcomed by 3 cats who live near the house, we would have liked to know this in advance because we do not like cats. That's why I didn't give them food and drink, result: the first 2 days of constand cat meowing.
As for the condition of the house, mosquito nets on the windows and a few comfortable garden chairs that you don't get a wooden ass on are really not a luxury! We also found that there are quite a few "points of attention" in and around the house. To us, it came across as overdue maintenance.
This is a shame because Casa Leonforte is a place to celebrate beautiful holidays.

Thank you for your comment, the cats are from neighbors in the area and by the welcome of other guests they are happy to come to the house apparently. We do not really share your opinion about the garden chairs and maintenance, there are 4 comfortable chairs and 2 lovely sunbeds with mattress, furthermore we do not pretend to rent out a luxury holiday home, the rental price is not according to us either.
