About René & Karin
On Micazu since October 2024
We are René and Karin and we come from the Achterhoek in the Netherlands, but now live half of the year in the beautiful village of Pogonia on the west coast of Greece near the island of Lefkada.
As lovers of the beautiful versatile nature, Greek hospitality, cuisine and culture, we have seen many beautiful places in Greece, but nowhere was it as beautiful as in Pogonia.
Moreover, the view from our villas with alternating between the beautiful mountains, the green valley and the blue Ionian sea is truly breathtaking.
Those are also the reasons why we settled in Pogonia in 2018 and now rent out some villas in addition to our own house to let others enjoy this beautiful place.
