About 8 years ago we ended up in Albatera by chance. We liked the region immediately. The tranquility of the Vega Baja with the mountains in the back and the breathtaking views with olive trees and the fruit orchards.
In summer, often a gentle breeze that keeps the heat pleasant, a splash in the pool... Yes, from March to the end of November we live mostly outdoors with 300 days of sunshine a year.... We also like to be there in the spring. The orange blossom is beautiful, but almond trees and olive trees also make this area a dream of a place. Wonderful bike rides and beautiful walks in the mountains in the unexplored nature?with the sea just a stone's throw away, we also regularly go to the beautiful sandy beaches and natural beaches. Spain at its best and for us consciously, something away from mass tourism, in the middle of its own Spanish population. Still oh so friendly people.... For us preferably authentic Spain and Mediterranean food....
