When you enter, you will find yourself in a warm cozy house. We enjoyed our holiday here very much. Everything is very close. 4 minutes to the ski school, 6 minutes to the center of Winterberg (shops,restaurants,supermarkets,etcetera.). Lovely place for two families plus mother-in-law;-)

We had a wonderful weekend in the snow with children and grandchildren.
Complete house, good beds, ski slope close by and for the non-skiers enough opportunities for hiking.

Had a wonderful weekend with the whole family (10 adults + 1 child). Everything is there for a successful weekend. The weather was also good and we enjoyed it very much. Definitely worth repeating.

We have been with our family (all adults) in the house for a week. We have walked and cycled in the area, there are many beautiful routes. The house is comfortable, in some places a bit on the low side. It is beautifully located and equipped with all necessities. It is good to see that the new owners are continuing to refurbish it. Downside, when the weather was nice on a busy day, the visitors of the neighboring hotel were quite audibly present.

We had a very nice May holiday in this beautiful house. We were with the whole family of 11 people including 3 children (2, 4 and 6 years). The house is spacious and with the many rooms there is room for everyone. Also to retreat for a while. It is located about 3 km from the center of Winterberg opposite one of the slopes and within walking distance (about 15 min) of Erlebnisberg Kappe where there is a lot to do with children and a nice restaurant that is also very child-friendly. There is a lot to discover in the Sauerland even without snow and we did a nice outing every day. The sandwiches from the Sommer bakery are really delicious. Moreover, the contact with the landlords was very pleasant. They had great tips for activities and places to eat. The house is very beautiful with a view of the forest and the river Renau really rises right behind the house. We would like to come back again... Maybe in the winter to have fun in the snow here. The house is more than suitable for this!

Together with the family and grandma we enjoyed Waldhaus Winterberg for almost a week. We enjoyed it so much! We have made the most beautiful walks, children have been on ski lessons for a few days and sat under the veranda. The house has large bedrooms on three different floors so that there is plenty of privacy.

Had a wonderful stay with 3 households with plenty of space. Perfect location in front of the slopes!
Contact with landlord was also good.

Very nice big house scared for both a group of adults and for children. Location of the house is super on the edge of the forest and a very short walk from the slopes.
There is also a toilet on each floor.

What a fantastic house in a fantastic place! Enjoyed it immensely, lots to do we will definitely come back again.
