Beautiful house with beautiful garden and lovely terraces and swimming pool with lots of privacy and great views to the coast and mountains. There is a similar villa next door, so you can sometimes hear something from the neighbors, but this also means that you are not isolated on a site, something we always like. Furthermore, complete privacy. The house is fully equipped, including a spacious kitchen, dishwasher and air conditioning in all rooms. (little used). Both the owner and the local manager are very service oriented and answer all your questions quickly and contribute to a carefree holiday! In our 14 day visit, the house was cleaned 2 x and all the bed and bath linen changed. If you book this property, you will receive what is promised to you in advance via the site.

Stayed in this villa with 2 families of three. Truly a fantastic Villa with all the trimmings. Nice rooms, air conditioning everywhere, also in the living room and kitchen. Nice places to sit outside. Truly a fantastic house. Unfortunately, when we wanted to BBQ in the evening, we had a lot of problems with wasps, but that was the only downside. We would like to return in the future.

What a lovely villa! The first impression was already fantastic. The extremely friendly welcome, the super clean villa, the modern and warm décor and a welcome package with basic necessities made us feel at home immediately. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything has been thought of and nothing is missing. The view of the beautifully landscaped garden, the sea and the (still) snow-capped mountains was breathtaking. We enjoyed the serene tranquility and the tinkling of the sheep bells. A short walk to the right is a mini market and to the left a restaurant where you can eat, but also get good takeaway pizzas. In short, all the conditions for a good stay are present. We enjoyed it and would love to come back again!

Villa Helios is fantastically located near the village of Vamos, somewhat in the mountains. You have a beautiful view over the mountains with the bay of Chania in the distance. The Villa is modern, beautifully and sleekly furnished, still new and has several sitting areas around the house where you can enjoy the view, being outside and the soft ringing of the sheep in the area at any time of the day without wind and whether or not in the shade. The house is thoroughly cleaned weekly with a change of beds with fresh sheets. The swimming pool and garden are also maintained weekly. All this by super friendly and attentive staff. Direct and quick contact with the owner if necessary who is also very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended on a beautiful island!

What a fantastic house Villa Helios is. It is exactly as beautiful and cared for as in the pictures. Spacious, tastefully decorated, equipped with every comfort and super clean. Lovely beds, nice bathroom, spacious kitchen with all amenities. The terrace outside is pleasantly shaded and is a nice place for breakfast and dinner, the pool is in full sun all day, but around the house there are many places to read a book in the shade. The house is very quiet, you only hear the bells of the sheep in the distance. Nice views of the mountains and a piece of coast. A small shop is within walking distance. For everything else you need a car: about fifteen minutes to the beach, several restaurants, about half an hour from Chania and Rethymnon. Patrick, the owner, is a fine host by whom were kindly received and who solved a small problem immediately. Also, in our 2-week holiday, the bed linen and towels were changed 2 times and the house was clean again. Terrific! In short, we had a great holiday at Villa Helios, which exceeded our expectations. We can definitely recommend this!

What a wonderful holiday we had at Villa Helios! The house is spacious, very clean and nicely decorated. The air conditioning works great. The kitchen equipment is complete (except for a ladle :-), good WiFi range throughout the house (our teenagers especially liked it) and there is a mosquito net in front of every window.
We were kindly received by the manager and he always responded directly and politely to our questions.
The area is quiet, you can hear the sheep in the distance and in the evening you have a beautiful view of the stars from the terrace! But you don't feel like you're cut off from the outside world. Mini supermarkets and restaurants are a few minutes' drive away. We also liked to go to Georgioupolis and to Rethymnon, less massive and crowded than Chania.
Visited Lake Kournas Monastery, Agios Georgios Monastery and Archaeological Site of Aptera, all near the villa.
All in all a great holiday where we relaxed!

Our first time in Crete... so beautiful! The villa and location are perfect. At the villa there is always a nice breeze and therefore a good place to be by the pool or on the terrace. Villa is very nice and fully equipped.

In 20 to 40 minutes you are at a larger supermarket or town. Chania is really beautiful with its narrow atmospheric streets and many restaurants. You will be perfectly welcomed by Stathis and in between spoiled with clean towels and clean sheets. What a luxury!! Overall, great holiday and will definitely be back again!!

A very neat and clean house. Everything has been thought of with complete kitchen equipment. Quiet location with lovely swimming pool. The sunbeds are of good quality, as are the bed linen and towels.
