Cozy and comfortable detached summer house in a rural location in a flowery and leafy (French) enclosed garden of over 1,100 m2. The house is fully equipped, such as dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, refrigerator with freezer, Nespressie coffee maker, Ultra HD TV with Ziggo media box, on which you can record and watch Netflix and all channels. Internet with excellent WiFi range into the garden. Inflatable pool of 2 meters in diameter. There is a fireplace inside and a wood-burning fireplace outside. There is also a wood store, which can be used free of charge. The wood-burning stove inside is unfortunately not allowed to be used in the summer and autumn, but the central heating is more than sufficient. Electricity largely runs on solar panels, but there is also a regular connection.

- 15 minutes by car to Alkmaar train station
- 15 minutes by bike to the beach
- 8 minutes by bike to the center of the cozy village
Next to the house is a large health food store where all foodstuffs can be purchased, including baguettes, croissants, etc. freshly baked by a French (real!) baker.
Bergen (North Holland) is known for its cozy and artistic atmosphere, with a market on Saturdays around the famous Ruïn church. There are two bookstores, one of which is very atmospheric and literary. There are also a number of galleries because the village has been known as an artists' village for 100 years (The Bergen school). In addition to painting and sculpture that can be viewed in Museum Kranenburgh, there are also many special architectural houses to admire. Afterwards you can relax in one of the many cafes, especially the rustic D'Allerliefste. You can eat in many restaurants, especially the famous Onder de Pilaren.
The beach of Bergen aan Zee, 15 minutes away, is known for its friendly atmosphere, far enough away from the Randstad to maintain a quiet character, but sophisticated enough to house many restaurants and beach bars, especially North. The dunes around it are also worth a walk or bike ride. An extensive nature reserve with several natural lakes.
Alkmaar, 15 minutes by car (25 minutes by bike), has a large, pleasant (cheese) market, a cinema and everything one would expect in a large provincial city.
